JiangNan Delicacy appears to be a newer addition to the Sunnyhills Shopping Center. Based on online photos, it looked quite popular when it first opened, with long lines. The cuisine leans toward a sweeter, more sweet-and-sour profile, which is different from the more commonly seen Sichuan style, so we decided to give it a try.
We visited on a Sunday. The restaurant was nicely decorated, and there was no line or wait to be seated. Overall, the dishes were about what we expected, with the exception of the fish and rice cake soup, which was disappointing. While it may be worth checking out once, we don’t plan to return, as none of the dishes really stood out. Additionally, the food was noticeably too sweet for our taste and from a healthy-diet perspective.

Seven of us went there for dinner on Friday, 5/23/2025. We made a 6 o’clock appointment so even though there were many people waiting to get in we had no problem being seated. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The rest room is clean. The service personnel seemed inexperienced. We ordered a bunch of dishes. The food came too quickly and there was no space on the table to put them. The food was good but nothing spectacular.

Tried this new restaurant that was viral on Red Note. I came with my husband during their soft opening, and the whole experience beat my expectations! The atmosphere is so nice, very classy, delicate and elegant decoration and atmosphere. There were also 2 artists playing traditional music – very impressed! The food is amazing, highly recommend sweet and sour fish, sticky rice cake, braised river eel, and sweet braised lotus roots. Will come back again when it officially opens!

Delicious and authentic Jiangnan style cyisine. Nice to pay for a visit if you are near the town. No wait line on a Saturday lunch time.

Food was good, on the pricy side, came Sunday 12:30 PM and service was pretty slow. Our dessert ended up coming out first, despite being specified to come out last.
Tea refills was attentive though.

Authentic and tasty flavors, paired with attentive service and an excellent Chinese opera (Ping Tan) performance. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but worth it.

Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. One of the better JiangNan cuisine in the Bay Area. Might look like a normal outside but I feel like it is a gem once you walked in. The food not only tastes good but presented well.
