My second time trying Chuan Yue and both times I’m impressed with their food. I haven’t dined in yet but will when I go to try their soups. For takeout, I’ve had the Kung Pao, orange chicken, salt and pepper fish, and their Buchi. Well priced and all entrees come with a side of rice. All exceeded my expectations. Their chefs are something special. Any of their dishes will impress you.
Some side notes for a smooth experience.
They are closed Wednesdays and prefer you using and ordering site/App called “Beyond Menu”. The icon for the app looks like a classic Chinese takeout box.
PARKING looks full due to the gym nearby but I haven’t struggled to get a spot. Even if the nearby spots are taken, at the end of the plaza near the dental center there are always free spots.
Claremont is lucky to have a new place for quick, affordable, and tasty food!

The food is so authentic!!! We ordered string beans with eggplant and curry chicken. I usually don’t like spicy food but their spicy level is perfect! There’s still a lot to explore on the menu. We’ll definitely come back and try other dishes.

First time here, food very delicious and ordered 3 bowls of rice. Food with much flavor and are very Chinese traditional food. Tofu is very smooth I like that a lot.

First time here and had a great surprise! Amazing food that rivals restaurants in LA. The spicy diced chicken was perfectly seasoned with Sichuan, garlic, onions and chilis. Also had a couple dim sum items that were very tasty. The salt and spicy squid appetizer was reminiscent of Sam woo. Portion sizes on the main entrees are large and good to share for a couple people.

I’ve never seen sweet and sour pork made like this, and you can’t even tell this beef is actually beef. I spent over 100 dollars on six dishes, and several of them were bad. Extremely disappointing. This is my first and also my last time eating here.

Love this place! Very fresh and flavorful food. Not too oily. The string beans are delicious and the Enoki mushroom and shredded dried scallop with egg tofu is unique and flavorful. Also enjoyed the good anger scallion beef. Service is great. Ambience is fine for a strip mall restaurant. It’s always clean and quiet.

was in pamona for a 4 day conference by day 2 was craving comforting chinese food and Chuanyue delivered! I got their wonton soup with veggies with a hong kong milk tea and everything was so good and fast if I lived nearby I would totally be back!!
