We dined here tonight for the first time.
On walking up we were a little sceptical and even commented “I hope it’s a HIDDEN GEM”.
Well that’s exactly what it was.
We were greeted at the door and walked in to find an extremely clean interior. Limited seating inside but we got a table for two.
After perusing the menu we ordered a full rack of pork ribs and a pulled pork burger.
10/10 for both dishes.
The rib meat just fell off the bone and the burger was sensational.
Service was also faultless.
We will definitely be back.

He loved the mushroom burger and my pulled pork burger was delicious with a very generous amount of pork.

Staff were very friendly and service was faultless.
The only reasons the atmosphere is only 4 out of 5 is because the extraction fan from the kitchen is pretty loud and it is really not the traditional format for a restaurant.
I had the beef ribs and mash. Absolutely faultless. My wife had the Nachos which were superb.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

Definitely worth trying. The burgers were bigger than I expected and definitely juicy and tasty. There are only a few restaurants in Altona that deserves a 5 star rating and this is definitely one of them. Oh and its also decently priced…

Just tried Meat Mechanics for the first time. The “signature burger” was really delicious. I loved the addition of the mushroom, the bun was fresh, the sauces tasty but not over-powering. The amount of fries provided in the combo was also a really generous portion. I will definitely be back to try other things in future.

The chicken burger, Mac and cheese croquettes and loaded nachos are a standout for me on the menu! I’ve never dined but the takeaway service is quick and easy. Lovely staff.
