WOW! Go to this place and you will be in for one epic experience! It is a restaurant where you eat in pitch darkness, cannot see a thing at all. The waiters are blind and they guide you into the dark room, where they teach you to feel for your cutlery, plates, tables etc.. You can also talk with them on their lives and any other questions you have.
As for the food, the pastas were all very good. Between our table 3 of us got different versions of Pasta, and all of us enjoyed it.
Dessert was all really really good too. As were the breads and dips that were already on the table when we got there.
You can choose to get a dish off the menu, or you can choose for them to surprise you with a dish, and you have to figure what you are eating in the dark without seeing any of it.

This image contains far more light than you will have while eating your 3 course gourmet meal in this restaurant. Eating in complete darkness is an experience you will never forget. The food is selected from a menu before you go in and experience blindness. The staff are extremely nice and are for the most blind at well. How can your waiter clear an entire table without a sound and without seeing a thing? Hear the magnificent story of this place and the people that work there. Extra drinks like wine and beer can be ordered. Parking is some time available in the southern lot near the restaurant. After you finish go for a walk along Jaffa’s shore line and celebrate life. You can also enjoy the theatre Na La gaat – run by blind and deaf actors!

Everyone should do this at least once in their life to gain a small understanding of what it is like to be totally blind. You order your food before going inside and then it is served by vision impaired staff who do a brilliant job. You order drinks inside, where it is totally pitch black. The food was good and ample. The only criticism for me is that it starts and finishes really late, e.g. the entree was served well after 9.30pm (I think as no phones, watches or lights allowed inside).

This place ruined my last day in Israel. I was throwing up the entire night and next day. After getting food poisoning, I called twice and was told to not call back because a manager would call me. Still haven’t received a call. This place doesn’t care if you get violently ill from there food. Nor do they have the decency to call a customer back. If you go here and throw up all night you’ll know why.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends and it was so bad. It costs over $40 for the meal, but the fish was cold on the inside and i had to send it back. I also had a friend that got violently sick! She got the vegan option and had stomach issues for days. When she tried to get her money back, the manager never called her back. If you’re looking for a terrible meal, poor customer service, and food poisoning, i highly recommended!

Wonderful experience which provides a full sighted people a small glimpse of how life is for the visually impaired. The food was fantastic, but the highlight was our waiter Roy. He was was very knowledgeable and helpful with the wine list, spoke to us about his life, and made us feel comfortable and relaxed.
