Ένα όνομα, μια ιστορία που απ το 1950 εγγυάται την ποιότητα και την φρεσκάδα στους λάτρεις της αυθεντικής ψαροφαγίας. Παραδοσιακό μαγαζί της οικογένειας Αργυροπούλου μετρά 3 γενιές με σεβασμό στην παράδοση και τον πολιτισμό. Η χωριάτικη αυλή μέσα στην πρασινάδα και την κληματαριά , το παλιό μωσαϊκό και η λαδομπογιά στους τοίχους αρμονικά συμπληρώνουν τα δρύινα βαρέλια στο εσωτερικό. Κρασί από την κάνουλα δικό μας. Διαλέγει ο πελάτης και ζυγίζει ψάρια ημέρας απ τους ψαράδες των Κυκλάδων. Φαγκρί – Συναγρίδα – Σκαθάρι – Πετρομπάρμπουνο, ψητά στα κάρβουνα με μεράκι που αναδεικνύει την φρεσκάδα τους. Η βασίλισσα της κουζίνας; Φρέσκια γαρίδα γάμπαρη Πλαταμώνα! Κέρασμα στο τέλος, σιμιγδαλένιος χαλβάς και γλυκά του κουταλιού της οικογένειας.

Went there because 2 different families recommended it and it was the best decision ever! A cute familiar tavern where it was like eating at your friend house. Very friendly staff and really tasty food. Short menu card where they prioritize the quality, always fresh fish that varies depending of what the sea gives you that day. You can even choose your piece yourself.

This is the best local restaurant in Athens. Only local people come here, we had the best tomatoes salad, shrimps and red snapper in our life. Very fresh everything, the staff is beyond friendly. Price is average 50€ per person but worth every penny to come here. I’m so glad we came here.

Such an amazing place. Sparkling clean, simple and super friendly. You can eat salad, olives, feta cheese, fresh prawns and fresh fish. Nothing else. What they offer, is perfect taste due to their love of top quality raw materials. An absolute delight!

Very very very overpriced, they never give you a menu, so you most probably will have a shock when the bill arrives, no appetizers at the place, only one brand of ouzo, super long waiting time. A lot red flags. You can easily find another local tavern in Athens with acceptable price and good service.

This is a place famous for its prawns and fish. The menu is extremely limited to seafood, tomato salad, olives, feta cheese, and an assortment of drinks. Desserts consist of a candied orange peel (made by auntie) or halva (made by mum)

The food is all very well prepared but the prices here certainly aren’t cheap. Still it’s very popular (a reservation is recommended) and you’ll never know who you’ll see. I saw an ex-model and a current standing member of the government.
