Vinsetta Garage is a historic Berkley landmark on Woodward Avenue, reborn from the oldest garage east of the Mississippi into a full service restaurant. Set in the original 1919 building, it serves Motor City comfort eats like stacked burgers, Union Mac & Cheese, coal fired pies, and boozy milkshakes, plus a big beer list. This has always been one of my favorite places to eat in Royal Oak. The coal fired Pizza oven is phenomenal. And they are so creative in their food and drink choices…. I always like to try their seasonal special. But the best thing for me is that they offer so many gluten-free options!!!

This is a cool place.. it looks like an old car garage with the aesthetics to make it unique.. I come here and either grab a good burger or pizza. But i will always grab some cheese curds too! I definitely recommend the Wisconsin cheese curds (The batter is light and crispy!) I also enjoy the Macon Bacon burger, today I tried the pesto chicken pizza which was different but good.

Thank to MI Gluten Free Gal, I have GF food stops saved and this was one. From an adult Ace Pineapple beverage, to GF Mac and Cheese, then ending with Key Lime Pie that had an amazing GF crust, I thoroughly enjoyed it all! If you have Celiac and want to have a full meal.out with family and friends this is a great spot! Bonus….Trader Joes is across the street!

This is a cool place. Reminds us of Radiator Springs in the movie Cars. There’s so much to observe. This was an actual garage back in the day. The floors are uneven just like an old school business. Our servers were great. Super helpful and made good recommendations. My wife loved her pizza special (Elote). I had the burger special(jalapeno). It taste good but it was barely warm. I should’ve said something cause it seemed like it would have been an awesome burger if it were hot. Outside of that we had a good experience. We recommend it!

Very rustic interesting ambience, coupled with good food at reasonable prices. Menu is quite limited though – mostly burgers/sandwiches and pizzas. We had a group of six who all enjoyed their choices. Highly recommend the (great) fries upgrade vs (kinda dry) house chips.

Loved the experience!! The food was amazing. Definitely a fan of the fried cheese curds. Onion rings perfectly crispy on the outside. My companions absolutely loved the tower burgers. We also tried the Mac and cheese and will definitely highly recommend it. The margarita pizza was full of flavors and very very large for one person! I would say come hungry because you would love everything. Pizza is definitely a shareable!! I would love to try the potato pizza the next time.

Vinsetta Garage absolutely delivered! The burgers were perfect — juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The cheese curds were light and fluffy (hands down the best I’ve ever had), and the onion rings were that magical combo of fluffy and crunchy. The hand-cut fries were phenomenal and tied everything together perfectly.
We sat at the bar and Emily was fantastic — attentive without being obtrusive, fun and friendly, and she made delicious drinks. She really elevated the whole experience.

My family and I just had lunch here for my grandma’s birthday! The food was phenomenal, service was quick and efficient. I had the chop shop salad and Margherita pizza. The portions were very big and made for good leftovers. When there was a mistake with the food, it was fixed immediately. They were able to split up the bills for our big group of eleven people. Brooklyn was our server and girl shout out to you because you actually did so good!
