This time in Chicago I have decided to try a new place for dim sum after a friend’s recommendation to Triple Crown and overall was not disappointed. My friends and I had a reduced menu for some reason so it had fewer items than the one shown online. All of the congee and the vegetables were missing. I do not know if it is because we were there for dinner, but that was okay because what the menu contained was more than enough. We ordered what we could and it satisfied my friends’ cravings as most of them fulfilled their very first dim sum experience.

We went for dim sum on a Saturday. We were immediately seated, and the host reminded us that they were only serving dim sum at that time.

It was exactly what I expected it to be. Good dim sum, quick service, right at the entrance to china town. I will say I saw mostly white folks, but I was still pleased by the food. They do not have a bar or anything so if you’re by yourself you get the whole tabletop.

Hey y’all!!! I’m back with another one!! While in the windy city on this windy cloudy day, we decided to take a trip to Chinatown!!!! Let me say this little area was lit! We went inside the Triple Crown. Now I gotta give you the ups and downs. We walked into the restaurant then had to walk up some stairs to meet the hostess. She gave us a 15 to 20 mins wait time… So call ahead and make reservations. While waiting we had to go back downstairs to wait with no seating area. But a nice aquarium with fish. It’s a wishing well! We made some wishes, everytime we made a wish the catfish thought I was feeding him. Mines was to hurry with our table. I was so hangry, that I ordered so much food and had a tasting test. Every was delicious except those fried dumplings. Now the downside. Raise your hand when you are trying to order. Raise your hand when you finish. I felt like I was back in school. If you don’t you will be sitting like a fool. Bathroom had no tissue but paper towels to wipe ‍♀️ last but not leastly, I was fanning my food like I was at church on Sunday. The restaurant was not too cool and it was a fly and gnat giving me the blues. But the food I had was on point. So good food, service semi ok, and atmosphere was nice. I left on full and sleepy. So hope you enjoy.

THE BEST and THE MOST AUTHENTIC Cantonese morning tea place in Chicago. I’ve been to several other places multiple times and I conclude they make dimsums and dishes that are close enough to the most original taste in my childhood memory. IMPORTANT NOTE: their DRY BEEF CHOW FUN is the best!!! I almost cried when I tasted it. If you have a thing for dry beef chow fun this is your only place.

Food was REALLY good. Parking was easy – the trick is getting there when things open. After 12, all the tourists and people that go for lunch show up and it’s gone. We had a good time eating and walking around town afterwards.

Came here for dim sum at 11 o’clock on a Saturday, and couldn’t have been more pleased by the service and the food! Quick, piping hot, dumplings and buns made with the utmost care and love. If you love sweet dim sum desserts, you must try the Piggy Custard Buns, they’re fluffy, creamy, and adorable, like eating a cloud with a cute pig face! By the time we left, the place was packed, and it was no wonder why. Among the best dim sum I’ve ever eaten across the country in any Chinatown. Can’t wait to come back again!!

First time in China town in Chicago IL. I was great . I think we ordered to much, but that’s ok . The sticky fried rice was awesome, so so good. The stir fried turnip cakes and beef brisket crepe was delicious. I should just say its all so good. Thank you Triple Crown.
