We have been watching this neighborhood BBQ joint getting ready and finally went to dinner there. I had the brisket platter with fries and Lime Cilantro slaw. It was all very good. I recommend mixing the Liquid Gold sauce with the Original for a truly yummy treat to dip your brisket into. We will definitely tell our friends to try out The Butt Hutt!

Very cool vibe! Service was awesome. Food was good! Max and cheese is spicy and creamy, perfectly cooked noodles. Sweet tea was delicious. Corn nuggets were good, a little on the dry side. Green garlic and jalapeño dipping sauce was wonderful.

I have eaten here a few times recently, and there is a reason I keep coming back. The brisket is excellent and so is the service. I am happy I finally have a good ,local BBQ restaurant here in Riverside/ Murray Hill. Thumbs up.

Cute BBQ restaurant. It was very warm in there as I did go during lunch time. I ordered the Smokehouse Melt and “loaded fries”. They were not the Florida fries but the other one… Don’t remember the name. Will certainly be eating here again!!!

The BBQ brisket is great. Perfectly cooked and great toasted garlic buns. Seating inside is limited and it’s warm inside. Aside from the seating and heat the sauce and food was great.

Absolutely delish!! I ordered the Florida fries with brisket and omg perfect blend of savory and salty!! Although the Mac and Cheese wasn’t that good. It was smaller then expected and watery. Other than that is was so good!

I went to the dine in location. The food here is so delicious and turns BBQ into art. I had the Florida Fries and the pork ribs meal with a salad and beans. Every single item they served me was beautiful and delicious. Even the salad, which was beautifull hand chopped and put together in an attractive and delicious way. The sauces are incredible, too. I have never had anything like it before. The service was friendly and attentive. I am already looking forward to my next visit back.

Food was good but I didn’t like the mustard based bbq sauce. The atmosphere was quiet and the restaurant was clean. The guy behind the counter was nice and explained all of the specials for us. I would go BK and eat the ribs without the sauce ♀️

This is a great addition to the Westside Jax barbecue scene! I had never tried the food truck so it was all new to me. Parking is super easy and the location is conveniently right off Roosevelt/17. I ordered the brisket sandwich with corn nuggets and also sampled my husband’s baked beans and spicy mac and cheese. I got a mix of fatty and lean brisket and it was delicious and there was a decent portion of it. Great flavor, nice texture on both types. The bun was a good one too. There are three barbecue sauces on the table: sweet, sweet heat, and a mustard-based sauce. I don’t care for mustard so I tried the other two and liked them best mixed together. The corn nuggets were really good and the garlic ranch they are served with is fantastic. I might order extra of that next time to put on my sandwich. I didn’t care for the baked beans; they were mushy and the flavor was meh to me. The spicy mac was very tasty though. They use the big spiral pasta, lots of cheese, and it was spicy but not too spicy. I’ll get that again for sure. I also like that they have one Stubborn brand soda option, but I wish they had some local beers on tap. Service was very friendly and attentive. The only negative besides the beans are that it’s very warm inside unless you are at the bar or the one table in the main area. There’s a lot of outdoor seating, but it’s just too hot in the summer to use it. I expect we’ll come here a lot September-May and happily sit outside. I think this place will go in our regular rotation.
