The atmosphere is chill, not ghetto, not bougie, just a good mix of laid back, down to earth people. The male to female ratio was solid, and everyone seemed friendly and relaxed. They even had a DJ on the weekday I went, which added to the vibe.
One of my favorite parts was the classic arcade games. You don’t find those too often anymore, and it definitely adds character to the space. The layout is spacious, so you don’t feel cramped.
I didn’t try the food this time, but everything else was on point. The bartender made a great Moscow Mule, perfectly balanced and refreshing.
Overall, I’ll definitely be back. I’ve already told my friends and family about it, and we’re planning to return together to show support.
This is a nice Adult-like Vibe place. Explination-there’s 2 prt’s to this location: Upstairs, a Family resturant… El Guapos ,regular seating as such, along wth a bar option sitting area. They have game & triva ngt, also.
Dwnstr’s of the location- The Basement is the name it’s called, also has a place to eat; a couple of small tables–a bar setting style. A sit at bar option, also included. Looks more like a bar. It’s smaller than upstairs. Lighting is different–darker, neon colors, glowing. Have live Dj’s on certain ngt’s -wth rm to dance & a variety of tabletop games, a golf simulation game, arcade games and more.
There is a spot that can be rented out, as well– dwnstr’s.
I came here for drinks and I was not disappointed. The espresso martini is pre-made but it was delicious. The bartenders were very nice.
You are able to order some things off of el guapos menu, but the Basement has it’s own small menu as well which is mainly bar food.
This past Sunday night was their industry night so they had karoke later in the day with drink specials as well.
This place is down a flight of stairs that is not well lit. It is not handicap accessable and I do not recommend trying to use the stairs for people with issues in low light or having walking issues as the step size is too high and not deep enough.
