We are staying at the Coast Hotel. Took 10 mins to get water. Bartender offered menus but after 10 mins and him chatting at the bar patrons we drank our water and left. Just felt that they didn’t want our business so we went to Due Cocina Italian in Capitol Hill. Much better choice. Don’t even consider going to Redtrees.

I was excited they changed channel so I could watch wnba finals. Lots of places won’t put on women’s sports.
The cheeseburger was delicious and both my drinks were great.

Had:
Old Fashioned: exceeded expectations
Caesar Salad: not great
Pepperoni pizza: exceeded expectations
Club sandwich w/ salad: met expectations

Hotel restaurants….. always hit or miss but mostly misses. To be fair it’s hard to maintain quality attention to detail when it’s a low volume restaurant.

But we had a good experience at Hilton’s Redtrees restaurant.

The old fashioned was very good and they had cubed ice cube and Luxardo cherries! They gave a long pour too. Of course this is based on bartender so YMMV.

Caesar salad: the dressing was the issue; not the worst I ever had … but not good. Very mild would not reorder. My other party had the red tree house salad and it looked good.

Pizza: was actually pretty good; quality cheese and upgraded pepperoni

Club sandwich was bigger and thicker than expected.

Service: was very attentive and engaging or waiter Willy; did a great job.

I’ve been to this restaurant dozens of times for both breakfast and dinner. Prices are pretty high, but the cheaper things on the menu are good too. I recommend the chicken strips and fries with ranch.
Staff are nice, but when there’s a couple people here they take a while to get to you. Namely with the dinner crew, sometimes I’m waiting up to 10 minutes for them to give me a menu or if I’ve finished eating and am waiting for my check.
But the breakfast crew started recognizing me and welcoming me back after my first couple visits 🙂
I like having dinner here but I prefer my breakfast in the hotels executive lounge.

Very pleasant dinner at the bar. The food was delicious and our servers were excellent. I was surprised not more people came for a meal after the theater. It’s very convenient after a show at the 5th Avenue Theater.

The water cups were noticeably dirty, which set the tone right away. The food itself was fine, edible, and reasonably portioned, but nothing stood out in terms of flavor or presentation. What really missed the mark was the atmosphere and service. The staff seemed disengaged, and the overall vibe didn’t create a welcoming or enjoyable dining experience. For the price point, I expected more attention to detail in both cleanliness and hospitality.

Dinner at the restaurant was just what we needed before heading out to our Friday night show. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was the right amount and delicious.
Returned after the show to visit the bar before heading up to the room.

No buffet breakfast so just a standard scrambled egg, toast, fruits, and tea for it. For dinner, my dad ordered a halibut which was pretty good but the pizza was just average and nothing special about it.

The food was excellent & the staff was so nice as well. I took my dinner to go, but the atmosphere was very chill, you would feel comfortable dining alone or with a group there were lots of seating options to suit your group. I had a burger & fries, burger was really good, and the fries were awesome. Price is very good for the quality, I spent under $30 after tax & tip.

Restaurant looked nice and staff was friendly but food was not good and very expensive. Two orders of fish and chips was $46 and breading was not fully cooked. The staff was very kind and redid our order, but the fish was just very greasy with very thick breading. Tatar sauce was so bad I ate the fish plain and could only eat a bite of the overly-mayonaised coleslaw. Good- looking facility and helpful servers but way overpriced for food that was pretty terrible.
