HUNGRY? This little diner is your stop. Feels like you take a step back in time as you walk inside and has cute counter seating. Super friendly staff makes you feel at home. The desserts looked absolutely amazing but had no room to try. If you need a all in one meal,The Panwich is a monster of a plate. Definitely worth a visit.

I love coming to this place by myself. I use to have an issue with that but because of this restaurant I am able to feel comfortable enough to do so. Their food is so delicious. Everything from sweet to savory or salty is packed with flavor. The prices are cheap and the abundance of food will let you leave here full or more often than not, with a takeout box. When I talk about this place to other people, I always mention how good the pumpkin pancakes with pumpkin ice cream was. You think with syrup it would be too sweet? No it was the perfect blend!! They did a great job!! I loved the Panwich and their French Vanilla Cappuccinos!! I’m such a big fan of the different breakfast specials they have on the weekends. This place is a 10/10 that I will always keep coming back too!!

It’s always hopping and busy when we come here. Tells you it’s a good place to eat. The breakfast is great. They give you a pile of thick bacon. Eggs were fully cooked. Sausage gravy and biscuits was excellent. Waitresses were friendly. Lots of menu choices for under 10. We’ll certainly be back.

My wife couldn’t eat the sausage gravy and biscuit. Biscuit was old with no flavor
The country fried steak very poor quality and no favor in potatoes or pancakes. My kids even thought the pancakes were off I’m sure if you put sugar syrup and whipped topping on it’s good but nothing to brag at all about the pancakes

8am on a Sat, it was packed! I now know why.
-The waitress was quick and attentive; she alone deserves five stars. She seemed to know everyone!
-Our coffee cups never emptied and we were even given one to go!
-The prices are fantastic for such quality and huge portions.
-The food was delicious! I give it top 5 in Pittsburgh:
-We both took home half of our food and we are BIG eaters!
-The manager checked on us to see if we were happy. WE WERE.
-They sell PA Lottery tickets and scratch-offs at the register. We were feeling lucky after that breakfast.
This place is a GEM. Way worth the hour drive from the North Shore. I will be back! (Yes, that IS. a full-sized Reese’s Cup on my friend’s peanut butter chocolate breakfast tacos!)

G&G is the best diner in Pittsburgh. Just look at this pie and waffle special. It was so incredible, I can still taste it now… I took my mom and my MIL here for brunch before I got ready on my wedding day. The one meal filled me up for all that running around all day. My mom is very picky but she LOVED the food and the friendly service. G&G has always blown away everyone I’ve been here with. It’s also in such a cute part of Vandergrift. Definitely worth a trip, we drive almost 30 minutes and it’s so worth it!!!

It has an award winning reputation for a reason! Very clean and freshly remodeled. Wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Huge menu and everything I’ve had off it is wonderful. Prices are typical for most restaurants today, but the quality is great and portions are big, so I can always split it into a couple meals.

What an experience! We had a Sunday brunch FEAST that hit the spot! Generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service, and AMAZING food! We loved the creative specials and got the Banana Pudding Pancakes that were sinfully delicious! I also got the smothered chicken which was perfect. We can’t wait to keep coming back to try the entire menu!
