Lovely mom and pop shop. I ordered the takoyaki which is one of my favorite foods and Kenzo knocked it out the park crunchy outside with a tender piece of octopus on the inside. On top of that we order the gisha roll, love roll, crazy salmon roll, and sake salmon sushi. All were amazing with their own unique taste. The quality of fish was great did not have that overwhelming fish taste!
The service was amazing very friendly and hospital. Our food came out in a timely matter and the plating was impeccable.
The shop itself had nice music not too loud and not too quiet. They have nice artwork of all kinds hanging around the walls.

We came here for the first time today and loved it! The food was really good, it wasn’t crowded at all, and the employees were amazing (especially Richard!). If you’re looking for a good Japanese restaurant in Murphy, give this place a try!

They definitely go above and beyond here . The simple Tempura Shrimp roll was less than simple with the added crabmeat and then the masterful Kenzo Roll (check the pic ⬇️), so delicious and filling ❤️. But yet, they were so kind and gave me an ice cream bar for dessert . I enjoyed the extra touch of customer service. I would definitely go back again.

One of our family’s favorite places! It has a wonderful atmosphere, a diverse menu with plenty of options, and great service. It’s close to home, so we can easily make it there for lunch during our break. Plus, it’s always nice to get free ice cream—I know I don’t even need to order dessert!

Delicious sushi spot! We ordered both rolls and sushi/sashimi. Their sushi rice is sweet and fresh – making all the rolls very tasty. Our server was an older gentleman, while he did not speak much, he was very kind and friendly providing service. Our table received an extra sushi plate, soft drinks, and ice cream for dessert on the house. We’ll definitely be coming back with our family for another dinner!

This place has a very homey and quiet element from its decorations and food which I loved as I hate busy and loud environments. The food came out good and my companions were thoroughly satisfied. They had the spicy tuna and salmon crunchy rolls and the temptation rolls which I did not try but based from their opinions, the rolls were good. My friend also had the ramen which he liked while I had the curry chicken katsu which was just okay to me. It’s also important to consider that I don’t eat Japanese food at all so I can’t really go into much detail other than this experience. One thing people may find issue with though is the service as when taking our order, the man did not talk to us choosing to only nod. Some may find this rude but I was okay with it as I enjoyed the “quietness” of the building in addition to food coming in at a decent time. Overall, Kenzo is a place I would consider going again for its quality food and quiet atmosphere.
