Slow Co is a family and friend-run, artisan pizza place based in Cotati, CA, that is centered around the bounty of our very own Sonoma County. Our menu is built around seasonality and a deep connection to the local farming community. We use a slow fermentation process for our naturally-leavened pizza dough .

My son, granddaughter, and I were craving great pizza and decided to try this somewhat new pizzeria — and we’re so glad we did!
The Caesar salad is non-traditional in the best way. The variety and freshness of the greens really stood out. As a vegetarian, I initially hesitated when I saw what looked like bacon bits, but the owner kindly assured me they were seasoned breadcrumbs — such a creative and delicious touch.
I ordered the potato pizza, and my granddaughter chose the pepperoni. She devoured nearly the entire pizza in record time, so I think it’s safe to say she gives it five stars! My potato pizza was the bomb — bursting with flavor. The pickled peppers added the perfect tangy kick. Both pizzas had that wonderful thin, crispy crust that I absolutely love.
The service was friendly and attentive. While the pizzas are on the smaller side and perhaps a bit higher in price, the fresh, quality ingredients make it worthwhile.
I also appreciated seeing a Palestinian soda in the refrigerator case, with 50% of the proceeds going toward a Palestine support fund — a thoughtful and meaningful touch.
I’m especially looking forward to warm evenings when I can walk the half mile from my home and enjoy dinner on the patio. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious pizza; excellent crust, good toppings, and yummy dipping sauce if you’re so inclined. I normally only get vegetarian pizza but the sausage is really tasty. We also ordered the cheese dippers, which was great.

Excellent, creative menu. The pizza crust is delicious and the perfect chewy consistency. As someone who does not love sourdough, it does not have a strong sourdough flavor. It just tasted rich and delicious. The salads, farmers cheese, and ice cream with miso caramel were all memorable.

I’m glad to see a new restaurant in this building, I didn’t eat at the restaurant so I can’t say how the service or atmosphere was but the pizza was fire!!!! Their dough is so delicious! I had the Hogwarts Express, Pretty Fly For A Fungi and the Finnster but added mushrooms. They all were delicious but my favorite was the Pretty Fly. The mushrooms they use are awesome and have a bite, not all soft and mushy. I can’t wait to get back and try some more. You have to check this place out if your in Cotati!

This review is long overdue because Slow Co Pizza is absolutely amazing! I’ve had three of their artisan sourdough pizzas so far: the Finnster (pepperoni), Hogwarts Express, and Pretty Fly for a Fungi. Every single one was fantastic! The crust is a game-changer—I’m usually not a crust person, but I not only ate it, I loved it. The pizzas are perfectly cooked and not greasy at all, which really lets the fresh, high-quality ingredients shine.
The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a spacious indoor area and a lovely outdoor patio. It’s family-friendly, and the staff is so friendly and attentive. The owners Dany and Dane are wonderful people who have a true passion for pizza and breadmaking—they’re incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share their craft.
Also, don’t skip the soft serve! It’s super creamy and has just the right amount of sweetness, making it the perfect way to end your meal. They also serve a great selection of local beers and wines, which pair perfectly with their pizzas.
Whether you’re out with family or friends, Slow Co Pizza is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for more!

We have all eaten a lot of pizza. Everyone has a different spin on it. Slowco stands apart. If you are looking for something local, with super friendly people, kid friendly atmosphere, and ridiculously good pizza with local ingredients…. this is the spot. I rarely eat out for pizza, but when you can get a few different personal size pizzas and get to try them all, and your kid doesn’t complain and tries everything and likes it?!? Life’s easy. Highly recommend I will be back on the regular. Also, whatever it is try the special for the day. I had a pizza with tomatillo sauce and baby corn and it was ridiculous. Have you ever heard of that?? I hadn’t and it was awesome.

Everything is absolutely delicious. From the sourdough crust, to the banging (and affordable) wine selection and incredible soft serve. The owners are amazing people and I’m excited to see this place become a hub for community.

Great atmosphere, but both pizzas I’ve gotten from here (about two weeks apart) have been burned. Like the crust is inedible- black spots. I realize some chWill give them some time to figure out the oven, but won’t be back anytime soon.

Absolutely love the sourdough crust. It’s a top notch west coast style pizza that is only matched by the service that is provide by its staff—also our pizza came out pretty quickly. Definitely a return visit is in order.

We had dinner at Slow Co Pizza for the first time last night and it was fantastic. We tried 3 different pizza’s all them were delicious. Step in the pep, livin on the veg and the bird. There’s a huge back patio and great outdoor seating. We were there for.a Birthday party and about 40 of us fit comfortably. The back patio has lawn and the all kids were running around. The nice thing about the patio is that it is super kid friendly. The staff was phenomenal and made excellent recommendations. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks Slow Co Pizza for a wonderful experience and meal.
