We, a group of four, came here for lunch during the week. Most of what we ordered were items off their lunch menu for under 8€ per dish. You can add a starter for around 2€, but just the main is plenty for lunch. The food was great and plated really nicely. It wasn’t too crowded and the staff were super friendly.
Great food, great service, great price. I will certainly come back!
The place looked kind of nice and the guy that seated us and ended up serving us was really nice.
I ordered a Aperol Spritz and my girlfriend ordered a white wine costing €7.50 and €5,00 respectively. My Aperol was pretty watery compared to the ones we had just had at another bar before coming here to eat.
I don’t know the Thai name of the dish I ordered (number 51 on the menu) but it was a Thai chicken curry with basil. Not only was there no curry in it but it was more of a oriental fish sauce type dish. It tasted ok but what I found odd was that the chicken was ground or minced and not in pieces. Not only did this not look at all appetizing but the texture was not that great. Like I said, it tasted „ok“ but is nothing I would return for. My girlfriend said the same about her food and we agreed that we would not come back.
I paid €13.50 for my dish and the shrimp curry from my girlfriend cost €15; with spring rolls, two entrées and two drinks we paid €47.00. Not unreasonable for downtown Regensburg but, like I said, the food is nothing to write home about.
The restaurant offers seating on both the ground floor and upstairs, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The large bar serves genuine cocktails, mixed with the proper balance—no watered-down drinks here.
One minor point to note: it can get a bit noisy downstairs in the evenings when the place is bustling. However, this lively ambiance adds to the overall charm. If you’re in Regensburg and craving Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this spot. You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to returning again soon. I recommend also to do a reservation and ask for a table upstairs.
