All I can say is WOW . SERIOUSLY
Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It was busy, I was greeted and seated immediately. $2.49 Margarita happy hour was still ongoing, for 10 more minutes, that’s why I had to order 3. And they were delicious !!!!
(And of course I was not driving, I had walked down from the Holiday Inn Express ).
My server, Adam was amazing. Very upbeat and very, very attentive and prompt. I had the steak chimichanga dinner and it was excellent. The vegetables and guacamole were fresh and delicious. This place is fabulous folks I don’t leave bogus reviews. EVER.

They’ve worked with me finding food that I could eat that was in accordance with my doctor and my allergies. They make sure I did not get cilantro which is something that tastes like soap to me. And make sure I did not get any cheese sauce that can upset my stomach. I had the chicken fajitas with sweet tea. And they made a sauce without any cilantro in it that was wonderful.. And they gave me cut avocado.

Super fast delivery of your order – takes them around 10 minutes! We normally do take-out. When we do dine in, service is awesome and polite. The place is clean and well taken care of. I ordered the Jalisco Special and the amount of meat was dismal compared to how it used to be. Other dishes are tasty. We just remember a different El Charro from before it changed hands years ago and it makes it hard for us to enjoy the dishes. Overall – not what it used to be but still tasty, drop in for a deal and top notch service.

El Charo’s in Pittsburg was a delight. The wait staff was prompt and very courteous. All of our questions about the food were answered clearly. The food arrived quickly and the presentation was very pleasing. The flavor and texture of the food was excellent. The portions were larger and filling. The chips were light and crisp and the picante sauce was nicely spicy without being too hot. I hope my review does El Charo’s justice. This was a very good dining experience in every way possible.
