I had a deeply disappointing and concerning experience at this location. I ordered a simple 6-inch sub with turkey, pepperoni, and lettuce. The total came out to $10, which already felt excessive for such a basic sandwich.

The real issue arose when I got home. My young daughter began eating the sandwich, only for us to discover a large bug embedded in the lettuce. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable.

I immediately called the store to report the issue and asked to speak with a manager. I was told there was no manager available. When I explained what happened, the staff became defensive and showed no concern or accountability—no apology, no offer to make things right, nothing.

This is not just about poor customer service—it’s a serious health and safety concern. I will be reporting this incident to the local health department. If you care about food safety or basic respect as a customer, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location.

Went in at 11:45am, 1 customer in front of me. I ordered 15 sandwiches for my staff. 3 were made wrong and the guy at the register didn’t know how to use my tax exempt card for my business. I felt as if i was holding up the 8 ppl who came in after me. I normally don’t complain but there should definitely be more than 2 ppl in a environment such as this at lunch time especially with a staffer that speaks fluent English.

I ordered 2 subs from this Subway location. When I ordered tuna subs from other locations, I can actually see my tuna portion and reasonable toppings. In this location, mostly toppings and much less tuna. Why skimp on the meat portion? Please don’t be stingy with the amount of meat that is supposed to be in my Subway lunch sandwich. I hesitate to order from them again!

It was the worst Subway experience ever. The employee legit snatched napkins from my hand. He couldn’t understand what I wanted which okay but at the cash counter he legit snatched them and when I asked what his name was, he simply refused to tell.

The lettuce wasn’t fresh and the sodas are flat just like the attitudes of the staff. They don’t give toppings on the side like every other Subway that I have frequented over the years. Overall a very disappointing waste of time. Beware!!

Every single time I have entered that establishment, I am given side eyes, never smiles. I feel rushed and un-welcomed as my order is being taken. And on October 30, 2018, i found a ruler length piece of hair in my chocolate chip cookie, and when I took it back with my receipt in hand, the first reaction I received was that I was lying. I come to them at least 4 times a week because I work in the area. and I always get cookies, 6 or more. They need to work on their safety and cross contamination because it is real in that store honey. Be careful, WATCH THEM THOROUGHLY!

Yesterday February 11 2017, we picked up some subs and a chicken salad. The subs were great but my mom got the chicken salad and she asked for the dressing on the side. She did not get dressing at all and just ate it without dressing. She also said the salad did not taste fresh. Later on she vomited 5 times and felt really sick and was almost 100 percent sure it was food poisoning. She still feels sick and said it was the worst salad she consumed in her life!!! We always go to this Subway and never had problems like this before!!!! Really Disappointing 🙁 🙁 ( I would not even put any stars if I could!!

If you only care that you walk out with a sub or other menu item when you patronize this franchise, this review will not be helpful. To begin, the owners/employees are rude, poorly trained about quality customer service and in general resentful about the corporate headquarters decision to offer specials. The actual event that occurred between myself and the employee is not as important as the reality that this place does not work for your business. I believe that their position is that since they are the only Subway in Olney, you will patronize them no matter how they behave. Just say no to bad behavior. When an employee of Subway tells you that she does not have to make the sandwhich the way you asked, that is a good aign that she does not want your business. If you have experienced bad behavior from this location, consider not using them for 30 days. I guarantee you that things will change for the better or we will get a better franchise owner. Consider this challenge.

This place has truly gone downhill

What kind of sandwich store doesn’t have swiss cheese?

But really when the sandwiches are still cold after they “heat them” in their little ovens, the bread feels more akin to paper than food, and the store is depressingly empty I feel like there really is no need for this Subway to remain in Olney.
