Overall we had a good experience. The meat in cognac sauce was excellent and very flavorful, and the grouper was also good. I ordered the duck, but the first one was very dry, almost as if it had been reheated. However, the vegetables with it were very tasty. Thanks to the waiter who asked if everything was okay –
I said I didn’t like the duck and they replaced it with a new one that was actually very delicious. The crème brûlée is unusual, made with almond milk and almonds; some may like it, but I personally didn’t. The male waiter was very friendly and attentive, and overall we enjoyed the place.

Special place. One of our first meals in Marigot and memorable. Loved the warm octopus salad and tuna tartar. Profiteroles for dessert were the bomb! On subsequent visit they made us a special tartare with mahi and kiwi. Love the view out on the marina.

During our stay we stopped at La Belle and had a wonderful meal. The risotto was super and seafood was delicious. The service was outstanding. We came on an off day and during the early afternoon. Still, everything was perfect. Note that they have very nice photos on the walls.

Sad that the French government still allows smoking on outdoor parts of restaurants, our neighbours were chainsmoking cigars while we were eating… not the fault of the restaurant but still ruins your taste and appetite.

Absolut recommendation.
The owner told, the restaurant is supposed to serve the best Tuna Tatar on the Island – well, I haven’t tried all of the others – but it might as well be true. EXCELLENT
Flank Steak was on point as well.
Besides he serves delicious baguette – with butter and or olive oil – already worth it.

Francois served us, and he made an already great experience excellent. When we sat down, he presented the menu of daily specials, explaining each item and offering recommendations. We had the escargot (first time having it, and it was lovely), lobster and leek risotto, and for dessert we had the chef’s newest creation. The whole experience was truly luxury dining. I highly recommend La Belle Epoque to anyone who wants to eat like royalty.
