I always stop at Mike’s on my way through littlefield, but I had a hankering for his beef jerky, so I ordered it online. Was shipped to me very quickly came vacuum sealed ordered 2 pounds and a pound didn’t make it through the afternoon. The only thing missing was the good conversation that you get when you go inside.

A jerky place that only sells 1 variety? I think the flavor is cracked black pepper, because that’s all it tasted like to me. No options were given, other than weight and price. I bought a pound after tasting a piece because I support small business and because I figure I could get other opinions, but not my cup of tea.

The beef jerky is great but it has a little too much pepper, in my opinion. Mike only sells the one type of jerky, pepper. The half pound is the smallest size sold and it comes in long strips. This place really is a hole in the wall but it’s quaint with a lot of old stuff. The jerky is sold right as you enter the building and I did not see the rest of the place past my immediate view.

Passing thru on our vacation and decided to stop. Mike is very friendly and the jerky is AWESOME. Bought 1/2 pound but wished we would’ve bought more. We will definitely be back. Very tasty -Thanks Mike.
