First, I wanna say that the schedule for this place is kind of insane. They are barely open… If you’re in the mood for Puerto Rican food at a wrong time you’re SOL and you either have to a. make it at home. b. drive all the way to Worcester. or c. get something else. And at that point I’m not in the mood for it anymore. There are food trucks around Southbridge the do Puerto Rican food but they are food trucks, they move around and tracking them down and finding out where they are and if they are actually open or not can be tricky. When you have a set location in an actual building you expect it to be more conventional, but not with this place.
But honestly, if you don’t mind making the drive, I’ve had better PR food in Worcester. My go to is the Pernil sandwich. It’s a hard sandwich to mess up and it’s super delicious. But sadly this place misses the mark. It wasn’t necessarily bad but it’s the worst I’ve had so far. The pernil lacked flavor and there was hardly any mayo on it so it was a little dry. I also got Tostones which were lacking salt but the mayo-ketchup helped.
It’s by no means expensive but you’re definitely getting what you pay for but I don’t even know if it’s worth coming back. I just really didn’t like it.
The atmosphere. Sheesh. It was lackluster to say the least. You can tell the place has been there a long time. It’s extremely outdated even the outside needs a touch up. I look at the place and Im definitely not eager to check it out. I think most of the customers they have are returning ones that have been buying their food for a long time. Very minimal seating, a speaker in the corner for music and a fridge for drinks. Very simple.
But come here and form your own opinion, everyone’s taste is different.

Lived in Southbridge for almost 2 years now and only been able to try this place one time this place is never open even on the times that it says on Google. It’s so disappointing. I really don’t understand how they do business and since they’re barely open at least I would expect them to be open when they’re Google says that they are.

Wow! I took a chance to see what new things I could try. OH MY GOODNESS! Too many delicicious savory and sweet treats for your senses. Friendly service tops it all off. Take a chance and try, you wont be disappointed. (ps- try the potato and beef balls)

I went in today for the first time to grab some empanadas, guava and cheese pastries, papas rellenos, and a Cubano sandwich… Everything was fresh and delicious. I can’t get enough of the bread on the sandwich. It was soft and chewy, with the perfect texture. The family owners are also very kind and welcoming. I will absolutely be back for more goodies!

Delicious desserts freshly made! They have hot food for breakfast and a variety of food for lunch. If you have not been here I definitely recommend I gave it four stars because they close early and I wish they were open longer.

It’s a good place if you’re in a rush. The rice was good but the chicken was a little bit dry. I would have rather had some sort of gravy or something. I had also had plantains on my plate which were delicious.

Sandwiches are big, stuffed, and delicious (and you can’t beat the price). Pastries made daily in-house are flakey and packed with flavor.
