Great Spot for a Good Time (and Cheap Drinks)
This place is fun, even for an old guy like me! You really can’t go wrong with live music—well, unless you happen to catch the band I saw the night I went. But hey, everyone can’t sound like Ozzy. The drinks were cheap; I didn’t track the exact price, but two drinks were under $10, so you make the call on the value there.
I could easily see this spot busting at the seams when the right band is playing. While it definitely attracts a younger crowd, an old guy like myself fit right in. I have no idea about the food, but I recommend giving it a shot. Have fun, and catch you sometime!

Hey so I get this is dive… I really do. And we enjoy it for the cheap drinks and mostly good bands who plays here. But can someone PLEASE clean. Please. The toilets are always disastrous. And the lamps have about 6 years of dust on them. I don’t even understand how they pass inspection.

I love this bar and friendly atmosphere. It is a wonderful place and what they are doing to promote live music is awesome. The bartenders are extremely professional from their knowledge of drinks and friendly conversation. I wish I could be there everyday from blues music on Wednesdays to the live music they have every weekend. Sharky’s is a wonderful place to be and I do have to commend their bartender. If you’re at Sharkey’s and don’t get a drink from Cass you’re doing it wrong. She is an incredible bartender—fast, friendly, and always on point. Even when the place is packed, she keeps the vibes high, remembers your order, and makes every drink perfectly. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and the atmosphere. Sharkey’s wouldn’t be the same without her behind the bar. Highly recommend grabbing a seat and letting her take care of you! ❤️

Sharkeys is my favorite. It’s literally a staple of Greenville. I love the vibe there it’s so laid back and Cason and Cassie are the best. Always good for a conversation and serving you a drink made to perfection. Karaoke night is a blast and the band that plays on Wednesdays is awesome. Highly recommend if you’re new to the area or just looking for a spot to drop in.

I have been going to this bar for over a decade and have never been treated so poorly and rudely. Honestly I have never been treated so badly by any bartender from any bar. Well a bartender by the name of Cassie has major issues. She took away a drink I had literally just paid for, because I was watching a video on my phone. Everyone had gone and there were probably only 2 people left in the bar, because they had turned the music off. Someone asked what that noise was (facebook video reel I was watching) and she said, “it’s her stupid phone”. I just ignored her at first but then she asked me to turn it off. It was a Facebook video for crying out loud. We are in a bar! Lol! The music was way louder all night. Regardless I said sure no problem but you don’t have to make a rude comment like you did. Then she said I was rude and inconsiderate for playing a video on my phone and demanded I give her the drink I had just purchased. I had only taken 2 sips. That’s not right. Apparently a lot of people don’t like her and say she’s super rude and mentally unhinged to customers. At the end of the day she literally stole my money. I will not go back there as long as she is there. Just read all the comments in the bathroom that people write about her. She’s making the owner(s) lose business and giving Sharkeys a bad name. It’s sad what one rotten apple can do in a business. Employees like that are not worth keeping around. Again, this is a habit of hers. She bully’s the patrons. Why work in the service industry if you hate serving people. One night she even said that Sharkeys was the bane of her existence. Unacceptable behavior.

I moved to Greenville a few months ago and Sharkys easily became one of my favorite late night places to be! All of the staff are remarkable from the bouncers to the bartenders, they truly make Greenville feel like home. Especially Cass, I call her my alter ego, she’s amazing!! Each one of them make me feel safe and welcomed every time without a doubt.

Came in last night to unwind from the week. Everything was good right up until 1:35am. I was waiting on my tab from the bartender when a younger male staff member came over and started yelling aggressively for all of us to get out NOW.. I told him, we are all waiting on our tabs to sign them and close out, that he needed to either help the bar staff to get us all cashed out or chill. He just continued to walk around puffing his chest out like he was ready to fight all of us, when we were all waiting to cash out. Very weird and uninviting behavior. I wont come back there for anymore unwinding. Bar staff and dj was cool, but whoever that young guy was, needs to find a new hobby, cause he’s dangerously aggressive and seems like he wants to incite issues and negative responses!!

HOWEVER i desperately wanted green tea shot but they didn’t have jameson?? what kind of dive bar doesn’t have jameson ): he made us white tea shots instead but i am disappointed with whoever is doing the ordering
