Came here for the fishing theme……kinda a dive but well worth it. One of the best burgers I’ve had in ages. Homemade handcut fries…..yum!!!! Large portions. Friendly, kind staff. Will be back.

After working in the area, showed up at 11:20, having seen that they closed at 12. After walking in, got a cold reception from the hostess. Was told that the bar was closed already as the bartender was counting her money drawer. Thought I was gonna be able to get a decent meal and a beer after working all day before driving multiple hours home. My mistake.

The catfish is so good!!!! I had a steak a few weeks back. It was okay but every time I have gotten the catfish….soooo delish. I just wish you could add a piece to the order without having to buy a whole another meal.

We were here 3 months ago & gave the place 5 stars for everything. We were excited to try again.
This time the cod wasn’t done. The fries were cold and full of oil. My husband’s mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy was thicker than the potatoes. I asked for lemon in my tea 3 times (never got). The biggest disappointment was the full chef salad to take home. It was only half full. Mostly toppings, no lettuce. It didn’t have the extra egg that we paid extra for. When we went to eat it. The salad was sitting in a couple of inches of water.

Waitress seemed to know most of her regulars pretty well. We are from out of state and she was still super friendly to us. The catfish was good. Country fried steak was good. The hand cut? fries were pretty limp.
Prices werent too bad. Rustic fishing/hunting decor was cozy. Fish tank in the wall behind bar looked clean. We came in the middle of the afternoon, so it wasn’t busy at all.
