Pretty good seafood buffet. Price is $19.95 for a adult which I didn’t think was bad. I really enjoyed the catfish and fried shrimp. They had a decent salad bar and some desert options. Definitely got my fill. Would definitely go again.

Way overpriced, small buffet for 2 people $50. Really? Catfish was good, shrimp was good, peach cobbler good, tea was good. But not $50 good.Green beans, coleslaw not so good . They dont carry the foods listed on the website. I won’t return cause of the price.

Service & atmosphere was great. However, the food was less than appealing. And for the price, you would expect better tasting food as well as a bigger selection. I definitely wasn’t impressed & will not be taking my business there again. For the price I paid there, I could’ve eaten at Western Sizzlin.& still had extra money. I would say that I had my first experience paying $20 for a SALAD & then whatever for my tea…. The fish was blan & lacked seasoning, the grilled chicken tasted weird, & the fried chicken was so so!!!

Great old fashion all you can eat catfish place, with great sides and a very nice Arkansas River view. The deserts are very nice and they will bring ice cream to you. The place is a little hard to find but well worth the effort.

I will pay this place the highest compliment I can think of: It was as though my grandmother cooked everything in her kitchen. The carrot salad, the macaroni salad, and the broccoli salad where perfect. The catfish was breaded and fried perfectly as well. The restaurant was also immaculately clean. It is tucked away deep in a neighborhood in Dardanelle on the Arkansas River Obviously, the owners take extraordinary pride in their establishment. So much of what one gets in restaurants in the big city is the fruit of much contriving to achieve authenticity or the factory prepared food of chain restaurants. Catfish N is without pretension yet highly refined in its simple food and rustic atmosphere. This is an iconic Arkansas spot that, I, being a lifelong native never knew about until tonight. I suppose it is a very parochial restaurant that is a well-kept secret among the residents of the river valley. If you have some extra time on your trip through the state, take a 15 minute detour to Dardanelle off of the Pottsville exit, and take the first right going over the Arkansas River Bridge. This restaurant is about a mile down the road through a modest neighborhood that borders a river. They’re not open on Sunday. They also take a seasonal break from December until the middle of February. It is a buffet, and it is a bit pricey is buffets go. I believe that a buffet in a glass of tea with tax will run you about $24. I went there on a Saturday night, and they had shrimp on the buffet. That might have factored into the price. I don’t know but it was still worth it. The food is very high quality. The buffet has a number of cold salads, hush puppies, french fries, catfish, Fried Chicken, boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, BBQ shrimp, grilled chicken, and barbecued ribs. There is also a salad bar and a dessert bar with two kinds of cobbler, cake, and cookies. I’ve been to a number of catfish buffet places in my life, and most emphasize copious amounts of greasy food. That is not the case here. I can’t emphasize enough that it was just like my grandmother made. The food was not fried recklessly and dumped into bins for mass consumption. It was like a chef gave you access to his kitchen line so that you could make your own plate.

This restaurant is a little difficult to find, but very worth it. We try to make it whenever we are in town. All you care to eat from a small food bar of catfish, fried chicken, shrimp plus sides and salad. Always fresh and delish.

Not worth the price. Most of the food on the “hot” buffet was cold. This included the catfish. The french fries were cold, limp, and greasy. We had high hopes based on the reviews. We will not be going back.

Great Catfish and Hush puppies.. Worth the Drive!!! Went last night to their re-opening.. Apparently, they have modified the menu/pricing – I found this to be great news.. it’s more affordable.. and the food quality is still very high (as usual) I recommend giving them a try
