As soon as you enter , u feel the AROMA of SOUTH INDIA. The food is really nice. I had a masala Dosa full of flavour. The vadas were nicely cooked and served well. WORTH VISITING. Price is fair.

I visited this restaurant back in 2022 while I was in Milan, and I still remember how amazing the food and service were. The flavors were authentic and reminded me of home
The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better.
Even though it’s been a few years, the positive memory has stayed with me, and I wanted to finally leave a well-deserved review. Thank you for the hospitality and delicious food—I hope to visit again one day!

Abhinaya Restaurant in Milan is a good option if you’re looking for decent Indian food with vegetarian choices. They offer a variety of veg dishes, and the taste is quite satisfying.

However, it’s not a pure vegetarian restaurant, as they also serve non-vegetarian food, which is something to keep in mind for those specifically looking for pure veg places.

Overall, the food quality is good, portions are fair, and the taste is decent. A nice place for a casual Indian meal, especially for vegetarian options.

Been in Milan for years and was a bit stubborn to dine at ‘Indian restaurants’ cause most of them don’t serve authentic south Indian cuisine. But this one completely changed my opinion. It felt exactly the same way my mom cooks back in India. Loved the hospitality and the ambience. They don’t keep bugging you in-between but are readily available and also suggest which combinations could pair well when requested. Sad I didn’t click pictures as I was completely into the food ♥️♥️♥️.

Low quality food and very bad service
It used to be a pleasant place in the past, that unfortunately got worse…. I am very familiar with traditional South Indian dishes, but what we had last night was very far from food I usually eat in Tamil Nadu.
We ordered Gobi 65 (cauliflower starter ) and instead got Chicken 65. The shape and color are very similar – it’s the same way of preparation. It was impossible for us to make a difference at the first sight. I’ ve been pure vegetarian for more than 25 years! I even forgot the taste of meat, so only after taking a couple of bites it was clear what we were served. They said we were only guests who ordered Gobi / cauliflower starter , hence due to some mistake in the kitchen we got chicken. They apologized for this mistake, without understanding the problem caused to vegetarians. Dosa wasn’t prepared properly as well. It seemed more like a crepe than a real thin- crispy dosa! Chutney was also pretty poor, so all together we had very bad experience. At the end of the evening I felt sick

We had a very bad experience with the food and Service. We odered a VegThali and Bindi Masala withRice and Dosa. The Thali had Potatoe vegetable which had gone sour the Dal was burnt the Pakodas had no salt and the gulabjamun was hard as rock.
When complain the serving lady simple said it’s good please go ahead and eat. So we left the food and complain at the payment counter and he happly said it will not happen next time. The bill is 60 Euros
I would have appreciated some courtesy and respect to the customer instead serving Stale and Bad food.

The first place I found in Milan that is authentically Indian and the only place for authentic South Indian cuisine. The staff are super welcoming and was finally able to satisfy my south indian cuisine lust. Only thing its a bit far from well known areas. But overall great satisfaction

It’s a good place for South Indian food in Milan. North Indian not so much as we have limited choice and don’t expect authentic food. You can expect Ghar ka Khana in North Indian. Ambience is nice with desi touch. Idli and Dosa is good here. Service is quite nice with quick deliveries. People who run this place take care of you pretty well. Good Choice for South Indian food overall.

Visiting Milan for a few days and wanted to try out this South Indian place. The food is fantastic and was surprised to find such an authentic South Indian restaurant in Milan. Don’t be put off by some of the negative reviews.

The restaurant is under new management and was told the chef is from Madurai.

We tried vegetarian spring rolls, chicken biriyani, masala dosa, podi dosa, chicken 65 and chilli chicken. All the dishes were superb and authentic.

The service was quick, friendly and efficient. Definitely worth visiting.

This is one of the most authentic South Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Milan. I ordered Chicken 65, Chilli Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and Masala Dosa. Every dish was perfectly cooked with just the right level of spice for someone like me who enjoys Indian flavors. I’m staying at the J24 Hotel Milano, and it’s only a 5-minute walk from there. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the ambience was pleasant.
