The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better.
Even though it’s been a few years, the positive memory has stayed with me, and I wanted to finally leave a well-deserved review. Thank you for the hospitality and delicious food—I hope to visit again one day!
However, it’s not a pure vegetarian restaurant, as they also serve non-vegetarian food, which is something to keep in mind for those specifically looking for pure veg places.
Overall, the food quality is good, portions are fair, and the taste is decent. A nice place for a casual Indian meal, especially for vegetarian options.
It used to be a pleasant place in the past, that unfortunately got worse…. I am very familiar with traditional South Indian dishes, but what we had last night was very far from food I usually eat in Tamil Nadu.
We ordered Gobi 65 (cauliflower starter ) and instead got Chicken 65. The shape and color are very similar – it’s the same way of preparation. It was impossible for us to make a difference at the first sight. I’ ve been pure vegetarian for more than 25 years! I even forgot the taste of meat, so only after taking a couple of bites it was clear what we were served. They said we were only guests who ordered Gobi / cauliflower starter , hence due to some mistake in the kitchen we got chicken. They apologized for this mistake, without understanding the problem caused to vegetarians. Dosa wasn’t prepared properly as well. It seemed more like a crepe than a real thin- crispy dosa! Chutney was also pretty poor, so all together we had very bad experience. At the end of the evening I felt sick
When complain the serving lady simple said it’s good please go ahead and eat. So we left the food and complain at the payment counter and he happly said it will not happen next time. The bill is 60 Euros
I would have appreciated some courtesy and respect to the customer instead serving Stale and Bad food.
The restaurant is under new management and was told the chef is from Madurai.
We tried vegetarian spring rolls, chicken biriyani, masala dosa, podi dosa, chicken 65 and chilli chicken. All the dishes were superb and authentic.
The service was quick, friendly and efficient. Definitely worth visiting.
