Stopped by for lunch and was greeted right away with a warm smile. I had the lox crepe, Girl Scout cookie latte and some sweets! I had the cinnamon roll and a blueberry lemon scone. Free parking in front and back

We came on a busy Saturday and service was smooth and staff was very friendly despite how busy it was. I was surprised how good all the food was and how affordable it was. I had a quinoa salad and it was delicious. My family had omelettes and a BLT sandwich and they loved everything. I will definitely be coming back with my family!

Had a delicious breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Great place and kid friendly! They have coloring pages and crayons, and meals for all ages.

I ordered a quiche (fresh from their bakery) and a vanilla latte then had a sit. It was so delicious a d savory! The atmosphere was really nice, bright and opens right up to a really cool little store next door. I felt it to be a really neat concept. Central Cafe had a lot of customers and it felt like such a good neighborhood bakery and cafe!

We were visiting Highland Park, and arrived here with 25 people early on Sunday morning.
The atmosphere here is great. It’s a cute little café. They took care of us very well with amazing service in the food is definitely exceptional. Exactly what we were looking for on our trip.

I love this place to meet friends and enjoy a coffee.
The food also looks delicious – especially the savory pies. Everything is made in house – including the croissants!
Such a wonderful addition to HP!

Came back for a 2nd time this week! Delicious coffee option and hand-made wraps. OH, YES PLEASE!! I’m so glad this opened and seemingly making good business. We need more places like this to open in HP and stay the long haul. I know they’ve earned this five star review and here’s to many more visits! I’m so tired of places opening and going out of business in HP. Give this place a shot and I’m sure you’ll love its goods and atmosphere!

My new happy place in Highland Park. Ordered the Central Quinoa Bowl—healthy ingredients, well put together, and tasty. Good coffee in a ceramic cup. Carrot cake had nuts, no food color, and only $5. Plenty of available tables inside and out. Good service. Will return frequently.

Relatively new, and most welcome addition, to HPs dwindlings culinary offerings. Reasonably priced (not the $15 smoothies you can find around town), I’m about the “Green Smoothie,” just $6, the most delicious, well-made smoothie I’ve had and made with coconut water. Other flavors are delicious. Their biscotti is outstanding, and a bag of 6 large pieces is about $8. Then … the blueberry coffee cake with crumbles on top is addictive, just amazing.
Last I’ll go on about is the $11 BLT (which can be made with turkey rather than bacon). Delicious. The store exec. is “Dave,” who greets you warmly and gets to know your tastes. A genuinely nice person who rounds out the cozy feel to the cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating to fit the day. Highly recommended. I think you’ll share my enthusiasm. No, I don’t work there!

Was at Port Clinton Art Fair, had just gotten Italian ice, and saw these beautiful croissants out of the corner of my eye. I quickly did an about face. The Crème Brûlée croissant and the Almond Croissant if you guys already do a Koigin Aman, I need to try it, if you don,t, you should!,Your laminated dough is wonderful & buttery, top notch.
