Tacos Penjamo is the spot for tacos!
The street tacos here are the epitome of authentic tacos. They host a Taco Tuesday Special, where the street tacos are $1.50 each (Carne Asada, Carnitas, Chicken, and Al Pastor). I normally get five to feel full- and six when I’m feeling adventurous.
You order/ pay at the cash register and get a table placard if you choose to dine in. If not, same process but you’ll wait for your food on the side.
Have been going here for years and absolutely look forward to every Taco Tuesday here!

I’d give this place a 10/10 if it weren’t for the BATE & SWITCH advertising.. As you can see from the photos, the online price was VERY different from the actual amount paid. The food is worth the price but when you expect one price & get charged another , that’s not okay. Restaurants have a responsibility to the customer to be upfront with the cost of services. I did pay the bill because I know the food is good and my family was waiting for dinner but dang. Companies have been sued for far less. Whom ever is running the website needs to be fired before someone takes legal action.

This is the cutest little hole in the wall taco place here in Killeen. The waitress was super friendly and very helpful. She was bubbly and warm. They even have a bakery that is so cute. Stop by if you are looking for excellent street tacos

Had to take away my 5 star i left the first time i came here today i sat at a table for an hour no drink no nothing they just looked at me even though I acknowledged my existence to them. I then left went to el taco jalisco right across the street they get 5 so good got a seat in menu in just 2 seconds of walking in what!!!!! Thats crazy huh

Ordered almost 90$ worth of tacos tried every meat would have been worthwhile to have them wrapped at the two I bought them so I knew which was good and which wasn’t but out of 10 flavors including birria only 3 or 4 meats had actual flavor a lot of the meats was bland or burnt or I don’t know hit the corn , the bionico was so so good! The Aqua Frescas was so good the melon was delicious!
