At our Macon, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I stopped here today to grab a sampler. I hate the drive thru because they give you what they want and when you get home, it’s not right. I got cold fries or old fries. Fish was ok. The chicken was a tender not a strip like normal and then it wasn’t fully cooked

Let me start off with, restaurant was out of most condiments. I believe all they had to offer was cocktail. I asked young lady if they had a bottle of malt vinegar and if she would just put a little in small cup, she said there wasn’t any bottles, I asked was there and she just didn’t want to do it, she smirked and told me again there wasn’t any. When I pulled off I seen bottle on counter so I parked and went in and got some. I told young lady she shouldn’t lie to customer, just because she was lazy.
Now that im home food is cold and tastes like been under heat lamp for long time. Fries soggy even hush puppies seemed old. I only live 10 min from restaurant. I started to drive off when I seen the Health score which no wasn’t failing but tells me the employees are not taking pride in their work.
So I wasted $20 on dinner we could not eat..

I can only speak for myself. Purchased giant fish sandwich combo with fries and sweet tea. There was a line in drive thru so i went inside. Before i reached the counter i was asked “what can i get for you ma’am”. Service was with a smile and food ready quickly. Sandwich was moist delicate, crunchy coating with great taste. Thank you ladies. Enjoyed my lunch very much. HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOD BLESS!

I just wanted to say that the other night I went through the drive through about half an hour before they closed. I figured the food would probably not be so great because of the time but knew that was my own fault for coming that late.
However when I got to the window I had to wait for about ten minutes or so and I realized that they were making a fresh batch of chicken and fish etc for me! They could have given me whatever was leftover from the day but I really appreciated that they cooked something fresh for me that night. And everything tasted great as well. God bless you guys and thank you!

We received GREAT service, in fact, the employee told us about their Sunday/Wednesday special, which the two of us ate for $14.00! The special was two pieces of fish, 2 sides and a drink! Wow! Hard to find good food for that price these days. Our fish was cooked perfect and served piping hot. The inside was clean & the employees all were very friendly.
