The pasta alla bolognese was very, very good. Deep flavor and fresh pasta. Caprese to start was fresh
The 2 wines were both good options. Brunello and Barolo.
Fresh bread with olive oil & fresh cheese

We love to visit Milwaukee, but had not been to Zarlettis, which our son had been to and highly recommended. Last weekend we ate dinner at the bar where Brian took great care of us. From the time we sat down until the time we closed the place down and left with our new friends we met at the bar there (to catch some live jazz at the Blu), the experience was fabulous. Brian helped us order a delicious Italian white blend wine (it was so good we bought a bottle to go), and homemade ravioli stuffed with mushrooms. The atmosphere, the food, wine and vibe were all welcoming and first class. And every single member of their team was genuinely helpful and gracious. Thanks for a wonderful evening Brian and crew. Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Food was good but as a vegetarian, nothing wowed me. I got the Pasta aglio olio e peperoncino and it unfortunately tasted like a fancier buttered noodles from Noodles and Co.
The bruschetta was delicious. The bread was toasted perfectly, and the tomato’s were covered in a tangy, spiced sauce blend. It was wonderful.
Drinks, desert and our server (Breane/Brianna?) were all great! I would eat here again but would love a vegetarian friendly red pasta sauce!!

Anyone that gives this place less than five star needs to have their taste buds checked. Every dish we had was incredible. Pancetta wrapped grilled shrimp, eggplant parm appetizer, breaded grouper with a Michigan cherry beurre blanc sauce and gorgonzola mashed potatoes, and an amazing panna cotta for dessert. Jackie was our server and knew more about Italian wines than several somms I’ve talked to. Absolutely amazing service from her. I would make this a stop every time I’m in downtown Milwaukee

Great location downtown. The restaurant was able to accommodate our party reservation of nine. The interior is intimate but not tight or crowded. Our party, and all the other guests around us had plenty of room.
The food was delicious. Everyone raved about their selections. I ordered one of the specials for the evening, Ravioli di Bufala (homemade pasta stuffed with ground bison with arrabbiata spicy red sauce – Amazing! The pasta was tender, al dente, and the arrabbiata sauce was the best I’ve ever had (however, I would never say that to my Italian great-grandfather, Nonno!)
Our waitress was phenomenal and very nice. I would definitely recommend.

Always exceptional from staff, service, food and cleanliness. Brian finds our favorite cocktails to finish the night. Long time customer and it’s on my new years list to make it a monthly experience for 2026. Thank you Zarletties management for always hitting the mark. Service is always so well trained and friendly.

Zarletti is a wonderful spot for homemade pastas, great wine and incredible service.
Emily our waitress was absolutely perfect – she made a celebratory meal feel extra special and her hospitality was super appreciative. We especially loved the limoncello – unlike like any we’ve ever had. Will always go out of our way for this place.

We did not have a reservation. They found a spot for us at the bar. Great spot. Food was fantastic. The service was even better. All of the staff were great. Our bartender was enjoyable and very on top of everything. Definitely on our return list.

Zarlettis was good, but I wasn’t as blown away as I was expecting to be.
The bruschetta appetizer was mediocre, bread was like toasted grocery store bread. The tomato was crisp and fresh.
Mushroom arancini was quite tasty but not sure I’d order again.
Lamb ragu pasta was very good, no notes.
Butternut squash and sage butter ravioli needed some work. It wasnt bad, but the pasta to filling ratio was off , the filling itself was somewhat bland, and the sage butter did not come through very well.
The drinks were great! Service was great!
All and all, not a BAD meal by any means, but for the price point and hype… I won’t lie I was expecting near perfection.
