This was our first time here but definitely will not be the last. Starting with the smoked wings as an appetizer, they had good flavor and plenty of meat on the wings. Some of the best wings we have had in a while.
The entrees of the Smash Burger and the Pulled Pork basket were delicious. The burger had plenty of meat and tasty. The pulled pork was juicy and not greasy at all. With fresh cut fries and broccoli as sides, both meals were outstanding.
Our server, Jessica, took great care of us. She checked on us regularly to make sure we were doing well and our food was to our expectations. Jessica is very friendly and made our dining experience even better.
The restaurant is very clean and well maintained with a great atmosphere.
We will become frequent guests here and already looking forward to our next visit.

Me and my husband have been coming consistently for the past few years and the food is always incredible! We’ve never been disappointed after a visit. Our favorite server Clarissa is always such a ray of sunshine and does a phenomenal job. She’s always attentive, kind, and goes above and beyond- even on busy days and during rush hours. She is so very appreciated and a huge reason we love to come multiple times a week! Thank you, Clarissa, for being so awesome!

We come to town often for medical reasons. But we can never go home without a stop here. We have been coming for about five years now. Last night instead o staying in eating the good food at the hotel , we decided to come here since we were leaving going back home tomorrow. I was so excited when we first walked it. We were put at a booth not far from the bar . We sat there for 30 to 40 minutes. No one came to wait on us. The bar tender glanced our way a few times but kept engaging in small talk with the people around the bar. Talking, taking photos and what not. Finally, a young, friendly looking black waiter came by and asked had we been waited on.. he went to let the waiter know we were there. Of course, it was the same bar tender who looked our way several times but never came over. She could have atleast said, someone will be there in a moment. Nevertheless thanks to him for being so kind and understanding. The bar tender ( a white, tall, girl with dark roots, and an unpleasant look on her face) she was cold and stand offish but treated the table across from us wirh kindness. I am not sure if I will ever sit foot in this place again after such poor treatment. She noticeably refused to take our order.. I am not sure what she said to the waiter to get him to do it instead, but he looked kind of disappointed, but still stayed professional and polite. Our order taken, food served- but my extra crispy wings came out damn near raw with a little sauce poured over them. I almost threw up. I had to take Zofran at the table to keep from hurling. The young male waiter handled it with grace but we should have left the moment we sat there so long waiting on the bartender to come… sad.

However when we came in to be seated, they couldn’t make accommodations to citizen a table with six chairs that was completely open because supposedly the computer wouldn’t ring it up that way. Other than that incident and me having to raise concerned the visit was fine

We have been going to rigsbys since they opened the first location in greenville, we used to love it and eat it almost every Friday. That location went down hill so we started going to the boiling springs location when it opened since that’s where we live and it was great when it first opened but went down hill quick just like the greenville location. So we stopped going and when they opened the spartanburg location we decided we would give it one last chance. Well that lasted all of about 2 years then it went down hill quick. The food sucks now, the fries are always under cooked, the burgers are always over cooked, the chicken always sucks now wings or wraps. We just stopped going to any of them because they all suck now. The quality has just went down the drain! The owners need to fix this ASAP or they will just be a memory for the upstate when they close. What did it was coming back to boiling springs today and the food was just terrible! My son’s burger, the cheese wasnt even melted, it was just slapped on there and as soon as she set the plate down I sent it back and it came so fast still barely melted but we just took it. Then my wife’s buffalo chicken wrap was cold to the touch and it was supposed to be mild and it was spicy as crap said. Then my burger was soo terrible. The patties were laughable and so little I thought I had a kids burger. The bun was god awful! It tasted so fast like Walmart in house brand buns, doesnt flatten, crumbles instead of clumping into a ball. Just God awful! They used to have the best fries and twice fried them but they just don’t do that anymore I guess because theyre always undercooked and never nice and brown like they used to be. I miss the starting of rigsbys because thats when they were good, now theyre just another restaurant thats mediocre and never busy anymore and if that doesnt tell you that im not the only one then idk what to tell you. Used to have to wait to sit, now you just walk in and sit no issue. You wait longer for the waiter then you do sitting. What did it for us this time was my wife’s wings were undercooked and tasted god awful! So we sent them back and she said just bring me fries and take the wings off and the make up fries from back wings had freaking hair on them! Like are you kidding me and there was ZERO care from the manager! Didn’t even apologize or anything! Im not asking for a discount but you could atleast apologize for our bad experience that was clearly yalls fault! So I guess im never eating rigsbys ever again because im tired of giving them chance after chance to get better and thinking that the time before was just a fluke but when it happens over and over everytime, its not a coincidence, its a pattern.

I hate to write this, but after our most recent visit, it feels like Rigsby’s has really lost the spark it had when it first opened.
I’ve been coming here for client lunches since day one. Back then, the bartenders were pleasant, the atmosphere felt intentional, and the food was genuinely top-tier while the original chef was still in-house. It had potential to become a go-to spot in Spartanburg.
Fast forward to this Sunday: my daughter and I walked in at 11am as the first customers of the day and took our usual high-top on the bar side. Immediately, the bartender told us we needed to be seated by the hostess…a policy that has never existed in all the times I’ve come here. We watched several other guests walk in afterward and get the same correction, clearly confused. By the time we left, the bar entrance had been locked altogether.
The atmosphere didn’t help. On a day when the final college football rankings were being released and NFL kickoff was gearing up, the giant TV was showing random YouTube like “funny fails,” cute cat clips, and retro VH1 videos. It felt chaotic and disconnected from the experience you expect at a bar/restaurant.
Food was fine… chain-restaurant level now. Unfortunately, this is the third disappointing visit in a row. The decline has became hard to ignore.
As much as I enjoyed this place in the early days, I won’t be back and won’t be recommending it.

Had a lunch date and this place did not disappoint, our waitress was the nicest! She took her time with us and helped us through their menu, the food was reasonably priced and we were very surprised by the big portions we got, the food was cooked/seasoned well. We can’t wait to go back.

My favorite nights to go is when Patience is bartending! She has a great personality and she’s super cool and really pretty! I never have to wait on anything and she’s always there when I need service! Yall def have to go see her! Never a dull moment! A++ for her!!
