We tried the dinner sized chicken stew, meatballs and ducunu (a sweetish cooked cornbread /tamale dough), all very flavorful! Owners even offered to put up our bikes in a backroom in case we wouldn’t have locks
The food was delicious. The stewed chicken plate is one of the more affordable options on the menu, which matters when you have a family of six and budget carefully. Each plate came with one scoop of potato salad and plenty of plantains. One plate had four pieces of chicken and the other had three. My family was satisfied.
The vegetable soup was homemade and only $5.99. It tasted fresh and comforting, especially for someone who needed something warm and nourishing. They told me the wait would be twenty minutes, but it was ready in about fifteen.
It felt like dependable, home-style food that hits the spot when you need it.
Not a critic, just sharing how it felt.
If you’re looking for authentic cousin with amazing atmosphere, and one of a kind culture, come and pay a visit here. And rest assured your satisfaction will be earned %100!!!
I was referred here by a close friend and I showed up to little Belize the night before thanksgiving. Although they were preparing for a big party event, and they were technically closed. They welcomed me in with warm smile. And served me like a family member!
I had come in for their famous OXtail with rice and peas and let me tell you, it was the best food that you can find in California.
This is a family owned business. They also make you feel like you’re a part of the family. And their food is as healthy as home made food! I enjoyed my food. Loved the environment!
At the end, I had dropped my debit card outside, and the manager and staff helped me look for it and didn’t stop ’till find it. This was the confirmation for me to know who they really are and they cared so much to help me look. I felt so bad to interrupt their party, but they kept looking and helped me find it.
I would have gave them 10/5 if I could. I will definitely be back here and I already recommended them to a few of my friends who live local to them.
Thank you so much for your service from the server to the management team. You people are awesome and I love your culture! Can’t wait to be back here with a smile on my face!
