This team is doing great things in Crested Butte! I just got home from my road trip that included a stop there, and made my first Negroni with their Red Lady. So much better than Campari. More flavor and depth. Thanks Tim and Katie! Of course their Negroni with their own gin and vermouth was also very tasty, as was the foamy egg white drink (can’t remember the name). We popped in while they were getting ready to host a crowd of Vinotok revelers – way to go Anthracite!

My wife and I showed up on game night and had an amazing time playing Sequence! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed — perfect for a fun evening out. Tim, the owner, is an incredible host and makes extraordinary cocktails. His passion really comes through in the drinks, and the classic cocktail bar setup is top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!

Great new add to Elk Ave and CB in general. Cocktails not only rival Dogwood, but get bonus points for featuring their own distills. The Werther’s Original makes my inner grandma sing. This will be a regular spot for us.

We stumbled across this cozy distillery just down the street from Secret Stash. Katie, the owner, charmed us with the story of their homegrown beginnings and really took the time to explain the drinks and make recommendations based on our preferences. The drinks are unique with an obvious attention to detail, from fresh dill to wildflower garnish. All the spirits are made in house! Katie’s smile was infectious and she was beyond genuine and sweet. We played games and sampled almost everything on the menu, all of which were high quality and delicious! Tuesday is game night and drinks are discounted if you play games which are provided. Next time you’re in Crested Butte, don’t miss Anthrocite!
