You want typical long Long Island Chinese from a strip mall? This is a great spot. Cheap, hot and fast. Good value for the money and good portion sizes. Taste good not fancy no frills. If you like to eat hot slop out of a plastic trough then come fill the hole in your heart you can’t fill with a loving relationship with msg and broccoli.

The absolute worst! We ordered the general towels, chicken, and the boneless ribs. Both were disgusting. The general towels chicken was in a gross orange sauce with no spice or flavor. The boneless ribs were burnt. I would not eat here if it was the last place on earth.

Lunch? Don’t bother. Literally no where to sit since COVID.
Chicken & Lo Mein is $10.65 in 2026. There was little to no chick or pork in the pork fried rice.
My suggestion raise the price. I rather pay more for chicken and pork then to have literally nothing.

Somehow the chicken, tasted like chicken. By that I mean, it had no flavor whatsoever. I even added hot sauce directly to the chicken, and somehow it made the hot sauce blander. I honestly don’t know how you can fry chicken and make it taste LESS. Other than that, they were closing and my buddy was waiting on his food so I was going to dress my fries and they yelled out “hey we’re closing.” Honestly, not very good customer service. Overall, I will NEVER be returning here. I’m fact I created this profile just to leave this comment. I cannot allow this injustice to Chinese food to go on without rebuke.

So disappointed, our fried rice tasted like the wok wasn’t cleaned or something, very rancid flavor, pork bun tasted stale and old, my daughter got chicken dumplings, she said they were awful she couldn’t even finish one of them, the only thing that was edible were the egg rolls and they weren’t great buy ok. I dont know what happened to this place, it’s a shame because the service is GREAT and they are such kind people.

The RANCID taste you notice is from the toxic vegetable oils IE seed oils that every restaurant is using these days for cooking. They need to return to healthy animal fats made by nature and not the artificial fats made by man using chemicals and chemical processes. The cats out of the bag now. We were all lied too about healthy saturated fats. These man made vegetable and seed oils are causing the obesity, as well as diabetes, cancers, and heart diseases. The studies and graph results conclusively showed the timelines parallel the increase in these fake oils and ailments. Fast food and all restaurants are slowing harming us. But it is not their fault. People need to start informing them. Spread the word.

Da Hang is one of the few places that doesn’t serve soggy noodle Wonton soup. The veggie entrees always have a variety of fresh cuts in them. Best of all, the meat isn’t mysterious. Great spot, highly recommend.

I can only say all the best things for my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Long Island New York. Always fresh food, very quick service and prices you can’t beat. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. If you are on a budget this is the place to go to. You won’t be disappointed. Portions are plentiful and it is a great place to feed a large family especially if you are on a budget. The prices do not compromise the quality. Very grateful to have Da Hang Kitchen on Long Island. No need to travel to the city for a great Chinese meal.
