This restaurant is a jewel! The food is superb, the owners are so friendly and inviting, and I have a new favorite place for lunch and dinner! The salads are fresh and delicious, the dressing is so good I could drink it as a beverage, and the marinated roasted chicken and rice is seasoned perfectly. I ordered the Gyro Wrap with Greek salad and my wife ordered the Chicken Platter.
Everything came out rather quickly. Presentation of the salads were great. Everything is served on throw away packaging.
My wrap was very delicious. The salad had a nice slab of feta cheese on it. Personal preference for me is cucumbers and tomato. They have large slices of cucumber and large quartered tomato chunks. Thinly sliced red onions. In the bowl it was presented in, smaller onions and tomatoes would have been nice.
My wife’s chicken platter was ummm lacking to be polite. The chicken skewers were full and plenty of food, but lacked any real flavor. The fries were run of the mill fries with visible seasoning but no real flavor. Could have used some salt. The chicken skewers needed more flavor and/or sauce to accompany it. She used the pita and salad to make sandwiches and enjoyed it that way.
Overall not a bad experience and worth a return visit.

Finally! The North end of Elkin has needed a great place to eat, and here it is! I tried the beef, chicken, and pork souvlaki, the rice, the salad, and some baklava for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The souvlaki was great, especially with some tzatziki and pita bread. For a new restaurant, they have a couple of little kinks to work out, but they are negligible.

My family has been to this restaurant several times and have always had a positive experience. Mateo and his staff are the BEST! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. There is a little bit of something for everyone. We always get the family Greek sharing platter and it is more than enough for our family.

Make sure to say hi to Matthaios aka Matt- the Greek if he is working! We live in Raleigh and stopped here on our way to the mountains. So good! Will make a stop on our way back and put it on our pit stop list.

We really like the food and have been several times since they opened. The portions are huge and the food has always been fresh. We swap the fries for rice on the souvlaki platter. If they ever expand their menu, I hope they will add a good Greek potato salad. Also, the iced tea is great and so is the feta spread.
