Years ago, I worked out in Wallaceburg for my job back in Windsor. I passed by this place many times but never went in to eat. I made a special trip today to take a drive out and stopped in for lunch. It was absolutely better than I expected. If I ever make it out this way again I will definitely stop in and try the Large Marge Burger LOL.

This place is a hidden gem, I absolutely love the 1950s retro feel. I am sad to see they got rid of their walk up window concept recently, as I feel it takes away from the nostalgia. The place is nice and clean, and the food is good old classic burgers and fries. The prices are reasonable.
Hamburger meat could use a touch more seasoning, instead of plain ground beef. It was a touch on the dry side. Overall I still absolutely loved my visit and I thought it was soo good! This is a wonderful step back in time. Awesome service, all staff were super friendly and helpful. I got the bacon burger and overall I was happy with it!

I love supporting local business, but the last three times I have purchased food here, my order was wrong… I had the same order all three times nothing complex just wanted a side of Texas fries with my burger. I had to speak with the manager twice to get any sort of reimbursement or action for the food that I payed for but did not receive. The end result was me receiving a “gift card“ that was supposed to cover the cost of a new meal with Texas fries. When I arrived to use the gift card for that meal, I had to pay an additional fee for the Texas fries. LOL

A friend and I made the trip out to wallaceburg for dinner at Big Chief.
I was told about the large Marge challenge by my friend and had forgotten about it so when he mentioned going out there I was very excited to check the place out and try the large Marge!
The sandwich is massive, and I’m no small thing myself. The fries were crispy and fantastic. The key my friends is eating the fries first! I must repeat myself and tell you the burger is HUGE, and at the same time absolutely delicious.
I made it on the wall of fame and would suggest you try to get up there with me.
The staff were very friendly and did a great job.
10/10 would recommend

Well I got the opportunity to and this place did not disappoint. Food and staff were amazing and helpful. But the “Big” thing was about this place was it’s burger.
The infamous and notorious Large Marge Burger was quite the mouth and handful. 16oz burger patty cooked to perfection and basically a meal to feed the whole family, I ate it all in less than 12 minutes.
After I was complete I was able to put my name on the Large Marge Hall Of Fame. I was very happy and very full, but had a great time.

What a awesome place, I work in the plants and alot of guys go on about this burger from cheifs, I went last night with high expectations and it still exceeded them. I got the large Marge and some fried pickles, the burger was seriously the same size as the large takeout box it came in, I’ve never tapped out on a burger till now. Great food and great little spot to sit outside and enjoy a meal on a sunny day. Will be back almost weekly lol.
