Today was the first day I have eaten here since I was 17 years old- which was 18 years ago now and I can absolutely say that it is still just as delicious. The Polish dog may be sloppy, but it is so flavorful and juicy. Meanwhile the burger is one of the best I have had in Walker County. Thick and filling with all the toppings. The small is gigantic even. Great taste of nostalgia.

Ok, I gave it a 1 star on atmosphere because of the heat , it was around 97 degrees waiting outside! Just kidding, the food was really good, I had a chili cheese dog and fries and we sat at their tables overlooking the Warrior River, a nice breeze was coming off the river and the old 78, so it was.not too bad. Nice people working here, I understand they have had the same people for many years and you just don’t see that much anymore . Food is good, people are nice, ice cream is really good and prices, well, what can I say, it’s 2025! Come and see. Nuff said..

They have the best burgers around, and their milkshakes are delicious as well. The portions are huge,and the prices are extremely reasonable. From Ohio but been back & forth to Jasper all my life! Today 1st time ever even heard of you all! My cousin brought me here & Was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST HAMBURGER I’VE EVER HAD! Couldn’t believe how HUGE it was & everything so fresh! We even had to split an order of fries because the sandwich alone was a MEAL! Nice to FINALLY go someplace that doesn’t skimp on their food these days! And the flavor PERFECT!!! I’ll definitely be back when I come back down & be spreading the word! Decent cheeseburger (caution! a large double will fall apart on ya’!) served up for $7.50 from down-to-earth friendly staff. Places probably pulls on the nostalgia heartstrings more than anything…will consider upgrading rating on subsequent visist as I come getba cool treat on a hot day. Scenic overlook (the river, not the highway!).

Food is good, would be nice if they took cards instead of cash only. It would also be nice if someone could just come to your car and take your order and bring it out when ready. It’s a little chaotic at the ordering window and then everyone hovering around waiting on their food. Other than that, it’s definitely a cool place to try!
