I was very impressed with my experience! Staff are Amazing. Food was on point and very affordable considering Bay Area prices in my opinion. A really good selection of beer on tap and an extensive selection of bottled beer. There is something for everyone here.
It’s a sports bar so they have plenty of TV’s. So yeah it gets my thumbs up!
I had their spicy burger that was 1/2 lb! A huge beer 24oz of Drake’s Amber ale. I was asked if I wanted it in 16, 24 or 32. Rare nowadays to have those size options. Don’t sleep on this spot!
Great vibe and good ambiance, food and drinks are very reasonably priced and tasted great, Portions are large and great for sharing.
There are a lots of TVs, even 1 on the bathroom stall ! And they were kind enough to switch to your choice of channel if you don’t have 1 directly in front of you.
Staff is courteous and we’re really trying hard to keep everyone happy even during the busy match day.
Had fun, was pleasantly surprised and will be my go to for any big match going forward.
However, my recent experience was absolutely unacceptable. One of the staff members—a short girl working there—kicked me out of the bar for no reason, with zero respect, and in front of my friends. This was humiliating, unprofessional, and completely uncalled for. No explanation, no courtesy—just pure disrespect.
It is very clear that favoritism and poor management are being allowed here, and it’s driving away good, loyal customers. Employees need to understand that they are not the owners—customers are the reason this business survives. We are the ones paying for the service, and we should never be treated like this.
The owner seriously needs to re-evaluate their management and remove disrespectful staff who tarnish the reputation of the establishment. If this type of behavior continues, it will damage the bar’s name and drive away loyal business.
I will be taking this matter further if it is not addressed immediately. Respect your customers—because without us, there is no business.
The bartender in the fireball shirt served me, not telling me how much my drinks were. When he dropped the check he said “don’t be mad”. I looked down, $100 before tax on 4 drinks- like holy wow- and what was I supposed to do not pay? He asked “are you upset?” and I said “Yeah I’m mad, you tell people when they’re drinking a $25 dollar drink this isn’t ok” like it’s a sports bar in Fremont, it should have been half the cost!
Super messed up, bad bad bar tender
EDITED FOR ULYSSES:: I ordered a margarita. Your bartender wasn’t cool
Let me start off by saying that if you want to eat at a bar, I’ve never been to a place that has such a wide selection at a low price. The food here is incredible, and somehow it seems to not have been affected by inflation. If you manage to find something on special, the prices are even better.
With that said, there are some detractors to the overall experience that non -bar junkies may not notice. First off, all the TVs that are mounted above the bar are too high for your average person who’s sitting at the bar. After watching a couple of World Cup games at this location, I walked out with a bit of a sore neck. For people sitting at tables, it’s perfect, but I rarely ever sit at tables at a bar.
This place also has a menu that’s viewable via QR code. I’m not totally against digital menus, but the actual online experience isn’t set up that well. You have to select a menu section before the search bar appears at the top, and it only searches for items within that section. When you’re new to a place, and you’re not sure we’re certain items are going to be located, this is a big issue. While trying to track down where the wings were located, as I went from section to section using the search bar to no avail. Opt for the printed menu if possible.
Outside of those detractors, the overall experience was pretty good. The atmosphere is adorned with green trim, which is the only way you would know. The bar has a slightly irish theme. If you’re expecting a pub, you’re not going to find it here, as this place is exceptionally large and has the feel of a sports bar. Considering it says sports bar, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
There’s also plenty of outside seating, but unfortunately it was too cold to sit down and enjoy it. The staff is really nice, and the owner hangs around the bar and chit chats with you between tasks. I was really close to giving this place four stars, knowing that I rarely ever give out five, but the bar was significantly understaffed during a World Cup special event leading me to wait 2 hours to get the food that I ordered. By the time my food came out the game was practically over, which meant the bar missed out on a chance for me ordering two meals, breakfast and lunch.
