Incredible. Classic burger-stand taste, Fresh ingredients, big portions, crispy fries, made with a smile. The woman working the cash register was very inviting when I walked in. Ordered the Giant Burger with pepper jack cheese and fries. Everything was fantastic. The prices were super affordable. I will definitely stop by again next time I’m in the area.

Service was excellent. Everyone behind the counter was all smiles. The 2 chicken sandwiches we ordered were very dry. I assume they were overcooked in fear of the possibility of food poisoning. The fountain drinks tasted a little off as well. The fries were great though. Maybe they were just having an off night. All other reviews for this place contradict my experience.

We were driving back to Napa and craving burgers when Bartel’s Giant Burger popped up on the map. With 4.5 stars, we thought, there’s no way it’s that good—so we had to check it out for ourselves. My goodness, we were blown away! Everything was so fresh, incredibly tasty, and reasonably priced. We also loved that it’s family-owned and has been open for over 50 years—you can really taste the care and tradition in every bite. We’re so sad we don’t live nearby because we’d definitely be regulars! ✨

Food was great and definitely recommend getting their popular giant burger! Real meat not the fake premade. Adding the traditional fry sauce and homemade vanilla shake makes the meal complete. Plenty of parking. Was raining outside, temperature inside was nice. You can preorder and pickup your orders. Cute setup, food made in front of you.
