Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered delivery through doordash (meatball banhmi, 4 pate chaude and 2 orders of wings). They called me and said they don’t have wings and said they need to replace it with something with similar pricing and said they’ll send a chicken sandwich and a chicken egg roll. Didn’t even give me a choice to pick what I wanted. Just assumed I’d like a chicken sandwich and a chicken eggroll to replace the wings. I said no just remove it from the order and they refused and said they needed to replace it or they aren’t going to deliver. I told her I wanted another meatball banhmi since its 11 dollars just to replace it she said “no since its a chicken sub it should be okay” reluctantly said okay because she seemed to be stuck on sending me a chicken sub. Got my order and my meatball banhmi was not in the order instead I got a pork sandwich. I called and I let them know my sandwich was incorrect. The rude woman on the phone told me I was wrong and demanded I send pictures. Which I did when I called back she said oh that’s the wrong sandwich…which I was very well aware of. She asked “what you want me to do about it”. I told her at that point out of my entire order the only item I wanted that I got was the pate chaude. I asked her for a refund only on the meatball sub and she told me to wrap up the sandwich keep it in the freezer and bring it back when I want it replaced or refunded?? I live 45 minutes away hence the delivery but asking me to freeze a sandwich, drive 45 minutes and bring it back when I have time is insane. I’ve never had a food establishment request I bring food back for their mistake after I’ve opened and touched it. When I told her no she said she would pick up the sandwich from my home and asked me for my home addresss????? I’m not sure what they’re planning on doing with a sandwich that’s been opened, touched then frozen? Maybe resell it or make sure I didn’t eat it? Ended up throwing away the sandwiches all together and ordering from another place. I’m not just a little disappointed this is by far the rudest customer service and bizarre experience I’ve had when notifying a restaurant they sent me the wrong order and the lengths they expected me to go through to get a refund or a replacement for the correct sandwich. 2/3 of my initial order wasn’t provided. Ended up just going through doordash for a refund. Do not go here! Now I’m contemplating if they’re just reusing old sandwiches from incorrect orders.

Really cute place with a tiny Asian market inside, as well. Bread appears to be baked fresh on premises and the people behind the counter were super-friendly. I had a European-style turkey & cheese on a croissant which was delicious and my wife got a Cured Pork Paté banh MI which was supreme. We’ll definitely be back!

Lee’s gets back and forth reviews all the time, all I can say is be patient, and take your time to enjoy the food and experience of the cooks.
I had to sit a bit longer than I expected for my sandwich but it’s because the ingredients were fresh, the sandwich was delicious, and the sweet iced coffee was very refreshing with it.
Lotta people seem to say staff is rude but might not realize they could be too xD

One of the ladies was extremely nice to me . I was asking her about the coffee concentrate and she advised me on it. I decided to buy 2 frozen and 1 liquid . She made it for me so that I’d know when I got home. Thank you all , I will come back to try the sandwiches.

Plenty of banh mi establishments in the NoVa area but I prefer Lee’s the best due to their customer service, variety of choice outside of the delicious sandwiches and spacious interior where you can dine in. They will truly cater your banh mi to your liking and preference. Just my two cents growing up in the area.

Best sandwiches EVER! You talk about fresh ingredients and best bread in the NOVA area. Stop by any Lee’s Sandwich shops and you will not be disappointed. Today I got the Ham & Turkey and the #4 Gà Núöng Grilled Chicken along with Thai coffee. The entire meal was great, and the service was excellent!

The food is always 10/10.
The service is 10/10.
The speed of food is 9.5/10.
The first time I came here, it was empty, took 20 minutes for me to go up and ask where my food was. It took 5 minutes for it to come out. The food was phenomenal.
I was ready to not come back, but a friend of mine swore that they were worth it.
Came back again, it was packed full and busy. Service was fast moving and prompt. Our food came out in 5 minutes.
Since then, I’ve only had 2 times where my meal was forgotten, but that’s out of dozens of times I’ve come.
Thanksgiving was a perfect example of how amazing and efficient this place is. There were 10 large orders coming in, baguettes were being sold box after box after box, more roasting. So many families were inside seated and eating, ordering, enjoying themselves. I ordered the same as always, and it STILL came out in 5 minutes.
I can only ever recommend this place. Just on the rare occasion it takes more than 10 minutes, don’t be afraid to ask.

Been going to lees for as long as it’s been open, we even went to the original shop in California. I love the #12 vegetarian bahn mi, of course everything is good here. Try the Vietnamese iced coffee. And if you dine in try the iron skillet meal!

The only thing good in this place are the baguettes. The staff’s are rude, the execution on the ban mi is poor and everything is over priced!! I ordered a bbq ban mi without veggies and it tasted like i was eating straight baguette bcuz there was hardly any meat in the sandwich. Smh for a 9 dollar ban mi and it’s mostly bread!!! This place needs to be turned into a bakery. And needs a new owner and staff!!
