It’s a local Southern California things to go for fish tacos, but Rubio’s has some of the best fish tacos in the area. This place is a little bit out of the way the food is always good. The best part is that they have a rotational menu based on seasonal items so it’s always a surprise to go to a Rubio’s and see what else they’re offering.

Better than most Rubio’s. The food is typical Rubio’s (addictive and darn good). The standout for this location is the extra large patio. Interior is pretty big and very clean. I highly recommend this location over the Marguerite store.

The food was served barely warm, the bowl was actually cold. I ordered two fish tacos and a shrimp bowl that was on special. The tacos were ok, they were not hot tho, it seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The bowl was really disappointing, it was bland, no real flavor, and was cold.

Placed an $8 order over the phone, was told 10 minutes. When I arrived 10 minutes later was told 10 more minutes. Finally after nearly a half hour my order was ready. When I went to pay with a $10 rubios gift card I got for a birthday a week before the cashier said it wouldn’t read the card, it took the manager another 10 minutes to come assist, and then told me if it won’t scan she can’t determine if there’s sufficient money or not, I told her that I just went online and confirmed the balance and even offered to let them keep the card. I was told no and left nearly an hour later with no food. I’m sure on top of everything else they had to throw my order away. It took every ounce of self control not to lose my mind inside there. So this is me venting and warning you that “Leo” the manager isn’t worth a F#€& and couldn’t care less about customer service. Avoid this location!

Food was ok. I ordered Cali salad with salmon with extra salmon and they gave me rice, beans, and salmon with guacamole. The rice wasn’t cooked well I felt some of the rice is crunchy. The price is very high according to the quantity of the food. It was my first time and it will be my last time.

Mary a cook she went an extra mile when a customer await for his order for a while she asked the cashier about his order it’s seem that day register went down or something happened because customer order was not sent to the back screen,Mary or Maria quickly made customer order and came all customer table to apologize about the incident and asked the customer if the was something she can do for him.I love that moment because I have worked at restaurant’s and I know how good customer feel went someone go the extra mile with this customer service .no matter you are the cook on that day ,Mary did an excellent customer service she is a great team player. As well I want to share Tess and Brandon are great as well .this is a great team.thank you guy’s for all this great work.

Love Coastal Trio of tacos. Excellent friendly service. Only minus one star cause one time before a meat burrito ordered at our table came out with tough inedible meat but they remade it and offered a free meal in future.

The food was not as good as other Rubio’s. There were young employees and they were playing too much between them, yelling, throwing stuff at each other. They definitely need some training on how to behave when working.

The best, consistent, fast casual food around. Pro tp: ask for a side of the creamy chipotle sauce (4oz) then go to salsa bar and get 1 serving of roasted salsa (the black one), mix, dip chip, win.
