Pleasantly surprised! First of all, the chips and salsa were great. Also, after spending a few days in the town and the valley we were super happy to find they have Coke products!
Our server was very friendly and suggested we get the molcajete. It was delicious. The meat was cooked really well and whatever magical sauce it came in was the best.
We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great, flavorful Mexican food.
But would not recommended the sopapias.

Agave delivers Mexican dining the way it should be done. Confident. Generous. Family rooted.

The menu makes it clear from the start. Seafood lovers, beef loyalists, chicken traditionalists. Everyone has a lane, and every lane is built with intention. Portions are massive. Drinks are even bigger. You’re not leaving hungry, and you’re definitely not leaving thirsty.

When the sizzling hot plates hit the table, the room shifts. That unmistakable fajita steam rises and fills the air. It’s theater you can taste.

The cheese dip deserves its own mention. Rich, smooth, and absolutely worth dipping into while you work through those oversized drinks.

The Camarones al mojo de ajo came out hearty and unapologetic. Huge shrimp drenched in garlic sauce, balanced with beans and rice that hold their own. Wrapped in a warm flour tortilla, it’s a full experience in one bite.

Agave doesn’t try to reinvent tradition. It honors it, adds personality, and serves it in portions that make a statement.

The good first. Very cool building inside. Nice fireplace and good decor. The salsa and cabbage salad were great. I got the Agave special which was 4 shrimp and some mushrooms in a brown sauce. I do not recommend the special. The waitress was nice but very inexperienced and the wait for the food and the overall service was not good. I don’t know… I might try it again, just not on a Monday afternoon and I’d definitely order something else.

My husband and I stopped in for our last meal visiting Wyoming and Idaho. We had a very good dinner. We are from Texas and were nervous about the Mexican food being good but we were nicely surprised. The chips and salsa were great. They also served a cabbage salad with the chips, which my husband loved. We each got a burrito with rice and beans. The Dr. Pepper was excellent too! Our waitress Grace was amazing. She was very kind and helped to explain the menu and decide on something we would enjoy.

Pretty mid place. Overpriced for what you get. Way too long of a wait for food after ordering. Ordered the Super Burrito which is a comical name to use considering it wasn’t even really a burrito and it was more like a meat roll up in a tortilla. Also, nothing “super” about it. $20+ and it was tiny.

I’d skip this place and try one of the other 5 Mexican joins in Driggs. I would not go back.

This is a jewel in Teton valley that has lasted the test of time and no wonder. The food is terrific.

They have the typical chips and salsa but they also have e a cabbage salsa. That sounds unusual but it is quite tasty. Even the kids ate it.

Service was fast and attentive.

I had the pollo en molè, one of my favorites and it got the spot.

There were lots of options.

Most main dishes were priced at $20.

We stopped in on our way back to Idaho Falls. This was such a great stop. The food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. This is a small restaurant. Prices are very good for what you get. We will stop here again on our next trip to Driggs.

Unfortunately food was not very fresh. Chips stale. Dish lacking flavor. And it advertised fresh homemade tortillas, they are definitely mission brand store bought. Not good
Our server was very nice and did a great job, and the atmosphere was nice. Beautiful fireplace in the middle of building. Nicely decorated.
