I’ve been going to this pizza establishment for over 40 years, and let me tell you that it’s just as good as the first time I ever remember coming here. The pizza is phenomenal!! I usually don’t like sausage on my pizza because places use fennel in it. Bianchis sausage does NOT have fennel in it. It’s delicious. Their pepperoni tastes like crunchy bacon, and they use fresh mushrooms!! My mouth is watering just talking about it. It’s at least every 2 weeks that I have to get a pizza from here. The restaurant is dark inside, but that adds to the nostalgia. Be sure to bring change for the kids to play the jukebox. If you don’t have time to sit down for dinner, then be sure to grab a pizza to-go from their North side location. Either way, you won’t be disappointed. Oooo you can even get one par baked, take it home and freeze it, then finish baking it when you’re ready for it!!!

An absolutely amazing pizza spot in the middle of downtown Ottawa. We got two pizzas that came out hot, fresh, and with a generous amount of toppings. If you’re in the area, you need to stop by and make sure to get a side of their hot sauce

My wife and I went to Bianchi’s for our wedding anniversary for the 1st time and we must say that the pizza was AMAZING!! The pizza was made fresh and the customer service was great! The place is very Nostalgic which we thought was pretty cool! If you are ever in or near Downtown Ottawa, we definitely recommend you to visit and order a pizza!!

When given the chance, Bianchis Pizza is a must. I’ve had pizza all across the country, and nothing ever beats a classic Bianchi pizza. From the moment you walk in, you are taken to another time. Everyone is always friendly. There may be a wait at times but trust me, it’s worth it. You can also call ahead to order a pizza to go which you pick up on the back side of the building. Absolutely love this place and the food. My go to is a pepperoni pizza. Another option when sharing with others, order a small cheese pizza with the sauce on the side, it’s so good.

This is so different from any restaurant I’ve been to! The service was wonderful, and pizza was sooo amazing. My friend and I split a large and cost $21. It was so delicious I wish I had my own pizza

This was a lovely restaurant. The pizza was tasty, and the price was good. It had booth seating with a nice ambiance. Lots of customers but service was timely.

We were visiting Starved Rock State Park this month, and decided we wanted pizza for dinner and found this restaurant. We looked up some reviews ahead of time and confirmed that it is Cash Only. When you walk in, they ask you what toppings do you want, what size pizza, and what drinks you want. They have a thin crust pizza and the toppings were all fresh. I would highly recommend stopping in, or doing a pickup/Togo order to try out this pizza.

Pizza is all they serve, but I have to say their pizza is excellent. Probably the best I’ve had in the area.

I can’t say as much for their business acumen.

We had 11 in our family group, representing 7 separate households.

I point this out to introduce my biggest issue with this restaurant, the way they expect you to pay the bill.

They don’t demonstrate the common sense required to separate the bill and accept payments from the individual family units represented at the table.

Their solution, which obviously is only designed to make it easier on the staff, is to only allow payment as a whole for the 1 ticket that they allowed for the table. And they don’t even come to the table to take the order.

You are expected to gather all group members together at the table, then get up and go to the front register to place your order, and you can’t split it into multiple tickets…

Then, you go back to wait at the table, and they deliver the pizza some time later with no apparent service etiquette.

What really irks me is their expectation that you as a customer should be responsible for gathering the money up from the 7 different family units at the table to cover the bill, so they don’t have to.

I don’t know if it is a lack of intelligence or simply laziness on their part but IMHO… it’s an asinine way to conduct business.

The bill was just under $200 for 11 of us including soft drinks so the price wasn’t altogether bad.

If it wasn’t for the service, attitude and payment method, it would have been a great place return.

Drove in from Peoria on the 3rd stop of a pizza tour a group of us are doing over a one year period. Somehow, we missed taking a picture with our pizza… duh… but it was quite good. The other two local Peoria places were good but Bianchi’s easily was tops out of our three stops so far. Good crust, pizza was hot when brought out, timely prep, hot sauce ‘hot’ (as reported by one in our group, the rest of us are not hot sauce people), reasonable price, classic atmosphere and great service. Sure it’s cash only… we knew that… no big deal! My wife reminisced about her high school days when Bianchi’s was the after school or event place to be in the early 70’s… how many kids could be jammed into a booth?? Ha ha…
