Food was excellent and there was so much to choose from that we will have to come back. Service I gave 4 stars as we had to wait for service a few times and waitress didn’t offer to fill up our drinks that were empty when delivering food and she left to quickly before we could ask for a refill until she came back around. Atmosphere was great except for the stairs as I am disabled. I did not know they had another level to access without stairs. All in all, we will be back!

This restaurant sits next to the courthouse. It has a quaint, fun, appealing to the eye, and inviting atmosphere in the downstairs portion of the restaurant.
The drinks were on point. The lemon drop, the margaritas were all perfection.
The food was so/so. My main entrée looked beautiful, plated perfectly. The asparagus was perfect, but the steak had so much gristle, I spent my time just trying to chew a few of the pieces and after about 3 really chewy bites, I was turned off and spit it out.
When the server asked me if I wanted a box for the steak, (since it was basically untouched)- I told her I didn’t want one because the steak had too much gristle. She apologized, but that was that. I had dinner of mashed potatoes and asparagus for $23.
For the price, I was disappointed. I won’t be ordering that IF I come back to this restaurant.

This place was awesome! I had the buffalo chicken Mac & cheese and it was so delicious! The drinks were very tasty as well! If we lived in town, this would definitely be a regular spot of us!

The verdict sour is a really good drink. It’s rare to find a relaxed place that makes a drink with egg white. Perfect sweet sour balance. Good vibe in the place as well.

We hit The Verdict when they were short—staffed. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to be prepared and delivered to our table!! At l hour, I chased down our server and she went to check on our order, and reported it would be ready in 5 minutes. We might have felt better about the long wait if our server had stopped by and let us know it was going to be a while and explained the short staff situation. Probably will not return.. would have enjoyed a fast-food hamburger over The Verdict hamburger and the long wait. We liked the decor (law books – how appropriate).

My Verdict, Not impressed by The Verdict. The place is nice. The food is average for a trendy bar&grill. There were only about 15 people in the place when we arrived on a Thursday evening. It took over an hour to get our food. The server would disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. At about 40 minutes I asked what was up. She says Your ticket is next…15-ish minutes later I tell her this is getting ridiculous. She says Only a couple more minutes… Our ticket opened at 6:58p.m. About 8:10 food arrived. We only ordered burgers for chrissakes! Never an explanation, no apology.

Upstairs is under renovation, but the team is doing great downstairs! The food is upscale, the drinks are made appropriately, and the service is attentive. What else do you want! They still have the pool and machine upstairs to visit.

If you are in Eugene Oregon this is the place to go for a quick bite you won’t regret it. Due to Covid19 I was not able to dine in, but now I’m pretty sure you can. Customer service was amazing and food came out in a timely matter. I ordered the Cajun Salmon Sandwich with a side of tater tots it was really good. The was fresh and the was cooked beautifully. They are located right in front of the train tracks you cannot miss it. Go there you won’t regret it.

Well, it is a pretty awesome location just down from the water fall fountain. The interior atmosphere is nice, dark and classic. The drinks were strong but the food is overpriced and not so amazing. If you only want a few very nice drinks, this is the spot for you. If you are hungry…go somewhere else. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, pretty nice bar just not a great restaurant.
