The staff were extremely rude and the pizza was sub par at best. The pizza was very dry and had way more cheese then sauce.

This is a great place. The employee’s are very nice and the service is fast. It is CASH ONLY though. Learned that the hard way. Also, there is no indoor dining or bathrooms available to the public. So plan accordingly. I have been here several times and in my opinion the spinach, plain cheese and pepperoni are the best. The pizza with broccoli is disgusting though.

I’ll never come to 69th street without picking up a slice from Leandro’s. You can tell the guys behind the counter really want you to enjoy your meal. They’ll reheat your slice perfectly to your liking. And the pizza was good! Nice crispy slices like NY. They even have a nice clean seating area to enjoy your slice. Definitely recommend

I grew up eating Leandro’s. It was one of the best (if not THE best) slices in the Delco/Philly area. Crispy crust, perfect sauce to cheese to topping ratio, and prices were reasonable (.99, then eventually went up to about $2.50 when I moved away). You could smell the delicious pizza as you walked towards the place, it would entice you even if you didn’t have any plans to get it.

I guess they had a change in ownership recently, and it’s not my cup of tea anymore. We were in the area and got a couple slices each, and although they still offer the same variety, prices have increased (up to $4 a slice now) and I’m not a fan of the pizza. Slices are way too thick and heavy, lack the crispyness even after heating it up (some parts of the crust were still soggy), sauce to cheese ratio is way off, and overall just doesn’t taste the same. We ended up throwing away half the food since no point in keeping in if we’re not going to eat it.

I do like that they updated the seating area – new lights, they have ceiling fans and AC now. I just wish they hadn’t changed the pizza too.

Another great pizza place down the drain. More and more pizza places are losing their charm. Either cutting corners, or changing recipes. Little Sicily II changed their sauce and cheese, Lorenzo’s doesn’t taste the same, Colonial lost their touch, Khalsa Pizza shut down, Bob’s changed ownership and lost their flavor. It’s hard to find a slice that’s worth it nowadays. I don’t mind paying $4 for a slice as long as it tastes good. At this point I feel like the only slice worth it is at Rize (their rize pizza’s like the upside down or ivory are quite good, even if it’s a square pizza).

Best pizza in all of Upper Darby Township. Crisp, fresh, and super delicious when the pizza is coming out of the hot oven.

Pizza is my thing. I have been a customer with Leandro’s since I was a child. The prices may have gone up, but the quality hasn’t changed.

Nice people working here. I have gotten pizza here before and it never disappointed. However, i was a little disappointed with the first large pizza that I ever bought from here. It was bland and did not have enough cheese. The dough was fresh but otherwise lacked pizazz. I am beginning to think it’s better to just eat pizza by the slices here. They have a nice clean dining area in there too with plenty of space. Nice staff. I wish they took cash, kind of brutal having to walk to some perfume store 50 feet away to use an ATM, almost changed my mind.
