We were so excited when we heard that a new restaurant was opening in Beacon Falls as there’s limited dining options there. I have to say I’m extremely impressed with the renovations that have been done to the building, as the former business was pretty dingy, and this is now cozy and inviting. The food wasn’t bad, but we weren’t in love. I think it’s a good spot for hanging out in Beacon Falls, and it’s nice to have an option for American food in town.

I’ve been working in Beacon Falls for a while now with Manny Roofing, and The Tap House has become one of my favorite spots in the area. The food never disappoints — the burgers are always juicy and full of flavor, and the meatloaf is classic comfort food done right. The staff is friendly, the service is solid, and the place has a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for kicking back after work with a drink. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

We absolutely love this place! We have been twice. The second time was this week with my sister (visiting from England). They were very busy but got us seated fairly quickly. The manager asked if we were from England. We then realized that once we were seated, they were playing British hits over the speakers. It was such an awesome touch for us! The food was incredible. The cheese dip with the pretzel sticks is amazing. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the short rib grilled cheese, and the fish (fish and chips) was as close to home as we’ve gotten over here. I had the portobello wrap, which was delicious. They make a very yummy kids pudding as well, which our daughter loved. We will be back in the near future. I’m so glad this place is a part of our town ❤️
Had to update: we just went back, and yet again we had a wonderful experience! I asked for a French 75 and our server made one of the best ones I’ve had! She tried a new gin, The Gardener, and it was really good. The food was so delicious. My husband had the hot chicken sandwich, which he said had just the right amount of spice and the chicken was very juicy. My sister had the BBQ short rib sandwich, which she loved. I had the spring salad with grilled chicken which was very flavourful, and also had very juicy chicken. We continue to thoroughly enjoy this place , the food and service is always wonderful.

Great spot to stop for lunch. Food was out pretty quick and was great. Service was nice, sat at the bar so hard not to have food service. Parking lot out back and plenty of spots. Food was overall good. Sandwich was amazing

I’ve been wanting to stop in here for about a year, and they did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, excellent service, and the food was delicious! I had the short rib grilled cheese and pumpkin pie martini! Amazing! I will definitely go back the next time I’m passing thru Beacon Falls.

A great local place to eat! Food is great we love the sliders and the truffle fries are a must! Have not had a bad meal yet and we have been here many times! The waitresses are amazing, friendly and always helpful! Come here to eat you won’t regret it!

Was excited to try a new place. The pretzel sticks and queso were very good . However my main course : a chicken BLT and pub chips was a complete disappointment. For $16.99 It came with a very small piece of chicken which was dry and unseasoned. The sandwich was cut in half and one side had about 2 oz of chicken , but the other side had less than 1oz. On top of all that the “chips” were kind of burnt and had no flavor .
I really couldn’t understand why the price was so high for what actually was about 2-3$ worth of food . Anyway… maybe skip that sandwich if you go there .

Great local tap house, they host different fun events like weekly trivia. They also rotate local brewery offerings once a month.
It does get loud and hard to hear when they’re busy, but the food and service makes up for it. They once got my meal mixed up with the short rib sandwich, they quickly fixed it and gave me the already made sandwich for free. Very nice servers and bartenders.
