What a nice experience at this place. Workers very welcoming and helpful, and food was good. We were in our way to Marquette and stopped here to check Saint Ignace during winter. Both times we ate there everything was great.

We had our anniversary dinner here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The food and drinks were great. We had the Whitefish and steak. Both were cooked just right.
Our drinks were spot on. They even gave us some free champagne for our anniversary. Our waitress was excellent.

I think I ate here every day while at the resort, including 4th of July night. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. As a diabetic, I was a little limited in my food choices but what was on the menu was better than most restaurants I’ve been to!
The vibe is casual but somewhat upscale lakeside style. Lots of big windows facing the lake, outdoor seating, and there’s a big, well appointed bar in the center of the restaurant.
At least one night there was a musician playing nice, chill music. I loved how the music was easy to hear without being overwhelming. The lights outside at night are really pretty and on the 4th, a lot of us (including staff) got up and watched the fireworks!

As hotel guests, we walked in, the hostess Edith said it would be a 30min wait. We didn’t mind if there was a wait bc we had plan to sit on the beach in the meantime. After an hour, I called bc I had not gotten a text. Edith was very frazzled and all over the place but she also seemed like she was being stretched thin and doing the best she could. While on the phone with me trying to verify if there was a spot, she was venting about various things going on. She then asked for us to come to the hostess stand. We go inside and Edith acknowledges my party and I but then didn’t seat us right away. We stood there for a few minutes and witness another hostess (didn’t catch her name but she was an Asian woman) clearly not communicating and working together. One would cross a name off without sitting that party while another crossed a name off and called. After waiting for a bit, I walked in-front of the hostess stand to ensure that we would not be skipped. Edith sat us outside which was what we had wanted. After we were seated, we went completely ignored for 20 mins to the point where we had multiple staff members walk right past us and not even stop to ask if we had been taken care of. While sitting there, we witnessed Edith and the other hostess get into a heated exchange when the one hostess told Edith who was clearing a table that her to go order was ready. Edith responded that she was busy and the two went back and forth fighting with one another right in front of us and the rest of the outside dinners. It was extremely uncomfortable. Still being ignored at this point, we asked 2 waitresses to see who was going to serve us, each of them had no idea so we weren’t confident in anyone coming anytime soon. We gave ourselves a few more minutes and decided if nobody came we would walk out. A few minutes later, a waiter approaches a 2 person table behind us that had just been seated 5 minutes ago. Based on our looks of shock and frustration, the guest was nice enough to ask the waitress to serve us and the waiter said out-loud “there’s a rotation so I can’t help you.” Not sure how this restaurant works but normally waitresses have zones that they cover which could be 4-5 tables. This restaurant had the most dysfunctional staff I had ever seen. Honestly, 3 different waitresses were working in the same area of 4 tables….made zero sense. The server we finally got clearly was thrown our table but we went it because it had now been waiting 1.5 hours since we put our name down and hunger was setting in. Helpful ordering tips: 1. Don’t waste $14 on the espresso martini. It comes in what felt like a sample plastic cup, barely tasted like any alcohol and would be comparable to a bland mocha. 2. If you order the crab cakes, they are decent but definitely on the smaller side. Food is very average. 3. If you order off the menu and someone gets a pizza which we were told the tickets go in differently than the restaurant, pizza will be sitting there and like ours be cold! Overall, this was by far the WORST experience I have had with a restaurants wait staff. Not one staff member took any sort of accountability for their horrible and unprofessional attitudes. Whenever asked anything, we never heard anyone say “I’m sorry let me get this sorted out for you and I will be right back” it was always an idk or not my problem attitude. Or, they would blame someone else and take the opportunity to keep complaining about how busy they were. Clearly, there’s a lack of management and accountability. I have never witnessed staff venting to customers about other employees, making negative comments out loud, fighting with each other, etc. they were a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off. Be prepared if you decide to check this place out. Also, near the end of dinner to make matters worse, I pulled this black curly hair out from underneath the ice in my water cup that I just finished and well none of us have black curly hair….lets just say I couldn’t wait to leave! Very unfortunate experience because the view outside is spectacular.

Bobbi was a great server, always made sure our drinks were refilled at the right timing. Although I asked for a drink not on the menu, she made it happen and I think that made the experience that much better in my opinion. The “Shame on Brie” was very tasty and I liked it. I do however think French fries should be the standard side option, instead of the kettle chips. French fries are available for extra. It was a foggy day, I can imagine the view being very good. I would come again next time I’m in the area.

Pizza was flavorful and the portion size was big! We thoroughly enjoyed these pizzas and had leftovers for the next day.

Food was all very good, very nice portions too. The view was very nice. Our server was not very friendly or knowledgeable when asked about ingredients for allergy purposes. A lot of loud chatter between staff takes away from the atmosphere for sure, makes it more about them instead of the customers.

The drinks were strong and had good flavor with a friendly bartender. Prices are reasonable with a great location right on the water. I had a white fish sandwich which was tasty. I can’t say much about anything else on the menu but if you go somewhere like that on the water and it says which fish is locally sourced you have to get that. Would I go again, yes, but only after I tried most of the other places in the area.

Went to the Club at Breakers for an after wedding dinner, it was lovely! The servers were helpful in adjusting the music for us when we gave speeches, and the views during dinner were gorgeous. My pasta was very tasty as well!

Seated at 9pm. Overheard a waitress at another table tell guests that the kitchen was upset that they were ordering pizza. We were given a menu along with a pizza menu and a group in front of us specifically stated that they were here for the pizza . To be later told by the waitress that they were no longer serving pizza due to an issue and because they were understaffed. I can sympathize if you’re understaffed but then why provide a pizza menu clearly stating that the pizza is available until 10pm if there was an issue, and also why encourage patrons to order pizza as if it was available when they clearly stated that they were interested in the pizza. It’s especially disappointing if you are a guest at this hotel. Also, got an appetizer and only received one appetizer plate when I’m dining with my partner with my waitress no where to be found to ask for another when clearly she saw there was two of us. Not expecting this from a so called resort.
