I recently moved to Ashford from Dothan.
I have always had a pleasant experience until now….I am not sure who is running this establishment but I am pretty sure you do not visit or eat there.
In the 2 months my family has been here we have visited 3 times trying to give you a chance, every experience has been a disaster. Tonight for example….I simply ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and some fries. I got the attached pictures and some soggy fries. On top of that, I waited at the order window for 3 minutes before I finally said HELLO! And was responded with what can I get you……I then paid without a good evening or any kind of courtesy and said pull around to the front of the building for another several minutes. All that for some crappy food I could have microwaved from the local Dollar General. Last visit they forgot my son’s food, time before my wife’s strawberry pie was ice cold and stale. This does not begin to express how frustrated I am. Just want to leave a review in hopes that someone cares before I write off ever going to this location again.

When this placed first opened it was great. We live down the road so we used to frequent it a lot. The last time we got food here the burger and chicken sandwich was cold. Currently sitting in the parking lot at the moment only one other car ahead of us. We’ve been waiting over 10 minutes in front waiting for our food and the car before us still does not have their food either! Definitely won’t be back until something changes at this location!!

Stopped here on route to FL. We took our food to go – the fries were so salty they were inedible.

We came here for the first time to try out Jack’s and the entire experience was horrible. We order 2 meals for our sons and 1 meal for each of us. When we got to the window they only had 3 of the 3 meals. The young lady at the windows was obviously irritated with the other young lady who took the order and got it wrong. She started fussing at the young lady for getting the order wrong with us still at the windows and the window open. We was then asked to drive around to the front. After waiting the same young lady who was irritated came out to us and asked us to drive back to the window. When we came back to the window we was asked what our order was by this same young lady who was still very irritated. The manager(who was irritated as well) then came out and started taking our order and stated she would personally walk our order out to us. I paid for the 4th meal and was told to drive to the front again to wait. After waiting another 5min the young lady who had taken our order and gotten it wrong walked out with our food. When we checked the food one of our meals was missing. The breakfast burrito meal. The young lady stated the other young lady didnt make it (which was the same irritated young lady). The young lady went in to make the breakfast burrito. She came back other handed me the bag a d when checking the burrito was ice cold. I opened it up and the sliced cheese was laying on the burrito with some cold eggs and some sausage sprinkled on top. The hash browns was extra greasy and cold for all of the meals and I was over it. Just left and threw the food away.

This might actually be a decent place to eat. It has potential. I used to love Jack’s when I was a kid. But lately? Jack’s is nothing but bare minimum standards, far below average service, and food that is a bunch of low quality knock-offs of Southern favorites. And to add insult to injury, this location might be the worst I’ve ever experienced. They rarely get your order right, especially with online orders, which you can barely place due to the badly designed website that functions on a maybe-it’ll-work-today basis, yet they want to offer you all these “rewards” for being a loyal customer that you can’t even use. But what’s the point in placing an online order if the food hasn’t even began to be prepared by the time you get there, well past the window they quote, mind you? And to top it off, when these things happen, the apathy and indifference of the employees really just makes you feel oh, so welcome in the store. It’s like your very existence is a burden on their lives, never mind the fact that if not for the customers, none of them would have a job there. No, if you’re driving down 84 in Ashford, and you find yourself in need of something to eat, I instead recommend trying the dumpsters behind the nearby Sun Stop. The food is likely to be better and the angry raccoons offer friendlier courtesies than the Jack’s employees.

Had a wonderful experience with a large order that was filled most expeditiously. Bruna took the order and relayed it back to the kitchen. It came out in a timely manner and was perfect. Threw in some hot sauce and jelly and we were on our way. Jennifer, the manager, came out and thanked us for our patience and patronage. Will definitely be back.

LOVED! We are new in the area and haven’t had a chance before to try out this chain of fast food restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised how great the food is and the staff. The few times we’ve been there have been awesome – which seems to be a rarity these days, especially since COVID. We’ve tried a few different things food-wise that have all been really great. Can’t wait to try breakfast yet given they make their own biscuits. LOVE the hot honey sandwich. The chicken fingers are my favorite though – they aren’t drenched in breading like most places & are hand breaded. The dessert pies (apple and strawberry/cream) were a nice change – still made the yummy way – fried lol. Milkshakes hand scooped – YUM! Good selection on their menu of varied options. We loved how reasonable to prices were too! And the staff was top notch – greeted us each time we came in, helpful with the menu since we were new and all of them were actually working and busy while we were there; none playing on their phones or chatting with each other ignoring customers like you usually find nowadays. Restrooms were tidy. Only downside would be the could probably use someone monitoring tables in dining room better to keep them wiped as the turnover. But what a great chain – wish they had them up north! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ordered food and paid. Was then told after we left the window to pull around and wait that 2 things we ordered, they were out of. One item being a flavor of shake. The communication of this place is severely lacking. Let customers know these things before they pay. It’s like this almost every time we’ve come here. Honestly save your money and time and go ahead and drive a little further into Dothan and get McDonald’s.

10/12/25 supposed to be a fast food restaurant but they have a sense of urgency as a tortoise. Myself and 3 other people walked out after having been in line for 10 minutes, drive thru was empty when I first got there. They also barely gave the customer in front of me all his food. This place was great in the beginning but has completely gone downhill since.

I placed an online order at 11:38 a.m. and arrived promptly at 12:02 p.m. for pickup. Despite the scheduled time, my order was not ready, and I was left waiting an additional 10 minutes. To make matters worse, both large Sprites were served without syrup, making them undrinkable.
This level of service is unacceptable. Being short-staffed is not an excuse for inaccurate orders and extended wait times, especially for customers who order in advance. The lack of preparation and quality control reflects poorly on management and overall operations.
I expect these issues to be addressed immediately so that future customers do not have the same experience.
