Argentinian steakhouse decorated with dark wood panels and artwork to give a rustic feel. Indoor dining was a pleasant experience. Outdoor seating for two (along the sidewalk) seemed to be pleasant during the cool evening. Broad wine selection.

The two servers (Dominic and Francisco) spoke Spanish and English, were quite passionate about the food, and knew the menu well.

Salmon tartare. Highly recommended. A layered stack of fresh greens, chopped avocados and mangos, delicious raw salmon, and rice. The aioli and shoyu sauce added a nice flavor to the dish.

Chorizo sausage and patatas bravas. Chorizo sausage is house made and has a great chunky texture and flavor (recommended). The cubed potatoes were deep fried with sauces in little plastic cups.

The seafood paella came with hearty servings of calamari, clams, mussels, shrimp, and saffron rice. It was piping hot and the acidity from the fresh lemon juice helped to balance the dish.

Parrillada Argentina. Large serving of meats for sharing between two or more people.

Favorites were the skirt steak and grilled angus short ribs. Enjoyed the meat quality and pairing with the Malbec wine.

Sweet bread was thinly sliced and tender with a mild beef flavor. It was highly marbled and I preferred the more well done sections that seared the fat.

The blood sausage was juicy and had a soft consistency that reminded me of a tofu-like texture.

We drove by here while on the Big Bus. Ruth recommended this place. So glad she did. Service was amazing. Jackie was so nice. The food was even better. Had the Argentinian Platter. Great for two ppl. The broccoli mozzarella empanadas were to die for. Go to this gem. Do not go to a franchise. Eat at a great local place like this. Very quaint. Very nice. Won’t be disappointed.

I’m very disappointed with how my reservation was handled at Malbec. I booked a reservation through their website and received a confirmation email, so I expected my table to be secured.

Instead, I later received a text message stating that my reservation had been placed on a waitlist because the restaurant had no availability, and that I would receive a call if a seat became available. Despite this, I was later told that they had tried to reach me by phone — which is not true. The only communication I received was that text message, and it came two days after I made the reservation.

What made this experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of effort to help as a customer. No alternative times were offered, no solutions were suggested, and no attempt was made to accommodate me in any way. I was simply told to wait and hope that someone else canceled.

If the restaurant was already full, I don’t understand why their system allowed me to accept reservations and send confirmation emails in the first place. Being placed on a waitlist after receiving confirmation defeats the purpose of making a reservation.

Unfortunately, I never even got to try the food because of this experience. Clear communication and basic customer service were completely missing here.

Loved the milanesa, it’s just as perfect as the ones you get from Buenos Aires, and the entraña was amazing too! Great deal for restaurant week

I am so glad we are here.
Our favorite was the appetizers. We had the bruschetta and the blood sausage. It was nostalgia to find a place that made sausage without potatoes. While it wasn’t my grandma’s recipe, it was delicious. The herb dip with the bread was full of flavor. Service was fantastic, and they brought us right in on a Friday at 7 even though we didn’t have reservations.
My son didn’t care for his stake, it didn’t quite look like the marbles ribeye we are used to, but mine was great. Patrice leches for dessert was to die for. The kind you want to lick the plate. We ordered their specialty drink, Tango. It was small but you didn’t need more than one. We didn’t feel rushed. It was a little spendy, but we were celebrating mother’s Day and my son’s birthday. I found the or chose the restaurant because the conference I’m in town for says show your badge and get 10% off. We forgot that part, but that’s okay because we had a wonderful time.

Malbec Argentine Steakhouse Review

Malbec Argentine Steakhouse offers a calming ambience with a warm, inviting vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The seating areas have a unique appeal, and if you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend arriving early to snag a window seat. The view adds a lovely touch to the dining experience, making it feel extra special.

Upon sitting down, we were greeted with bread and butter, but this was no ordinary butter—it had a deliciously fresh flavor reminiscent of chimichurri sauce, adding a flavorful start to the meal. The menu is wonderfully crafted, offering a range of mouthwatering options.

I opted for the Ojo de Bife, and let me tell you, it was a chef’s kiss! A gracious portion of tender, perfectly cooked meat, where every bite felt like a little piece of heaven. My mother ordered the bacon filet mignon, and the smokiness from the bacon complemented the steak beautifully.

Their dessert menu did not disappoint either. We tried the Budin de Pan and the Flan de Coco, both of which were an explosion of amazing flavors, leaving us completely satisfied.

Malbec Argentine Steakhouse is a must-visit for steak lovers, and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Delicious, authentic, and unforgettable! The chocolate martini alone will have you saying, “keep them coming.” The asado is so good, it’ll make you want to book a flight to Argentina just to keep the weekend going. The shrimp with palmitos and salsa golf is a perfect balance of flavor, while the provoleta is so irresistible, you won’t want to wait for it to cool down. And don’t even get me started on the panqueques con dulce de leche — they’ll steal your heart at first bite!

This boutique restaurant is awesome! I was loving the atmosphere! I was able to get a window seat and I loved it. For starters I ordered the skewers and shrimp and cheese empanada. The skewers was tasty but baby that empanada was the best I’ve ever had! I also ordered an espresso martini, I didn’t care for that too much or the lemon drop I ordered as well. It was bad but I’ve had way better. Now for my main course , I ordered the rib eye with garlic mash! I requested my steak to be cooked medium and baby it was one of the best steaks I’ve had! It was so tender and juicy! So much flavor! I’ll definitely return for their happy hour! Overall a good experience!!!!

We had a nice dinner at Malbec. It wasn’t the best Argentinian we’ve ever had but it was good. The service was somewhat slow but they apologized and the food came out hot and fresh. I recommend the ham & cheese empanada, and the chimmichuri was delicious!

Great food, above average atmosphere. We ordered empanadas, calamari and skirt steaks. The steaks were really juicy. Empanadas were good too. Poor service however. Not only the service was slow and we had to struggle getting the server’s attention multiple times BUT they included a 20% gratuity for a party of 2 who only ordered 4 items total. We paid without arguing but I’m not sure most customers would take a 20% gratuity automatically included for a poor service.
