Second time that I come to stars and they provide bad service over all! The first time I ordered a “banana split” which had no banana! Ok called to complaint and the girl who I spoke to mentioned she was a manager was rude and kept talking over me! When asked for her name she refused to provide it to me! Then she insisted in giving me the number to corporate which obviously wasn’t a working number nobody ever answered ! I come today and I order 2 Ice cream cones and as soon as I tasted them you can tell they were not good they had a horrible taste when I called them back to take the cones she took them but they never brought me my refund when I called them to let them know I was waiting for my refund she comes to tell me that the don’t provide refunds excuse me I didn’t eat the food nor did I take it I gave it back to you she stated she can give me something else hell no this is the second time I had a bad experience I sure ain’t coming back!

I love coming to the Stars Drive-In located in San Benito because the servers are excellent! They are very courteous, and friendly.They also are very knowledgeable in their line of work. I highly commend the manager for doing an excellent job in running this place!

Used to be favorite place until we found hairs, yes multiples, 3 in the salad and 1 in a drink. Was half way through the salad when I found the second and third hair. I didn’t mind the first ( I know, how gross) I just tossed it out. But the other 2? I asked for a head of lettuce not hair. And then to top it off another hair in my sprite. :(((( I called before they closed and general manager said there was nothing he could do since his night shift cooks were bald. Called again today 5/16/2025 and no refund could be issued since I didn’t go back the same day and because I had finished the majority of the salad. :////
Edit: forgot to mention the burger buns I ordered were black, not burnt but black because I’m pretty sure they just tossed them on the dirty grill or pan or whatever it’s called. :((((

The food here is usually great but for some reason this night was just terrible. Chicken sandwhich had half a soggy tomato that barely held together with very little lettuce. The bread was stale and hard, as well it looked like someone smashed the bread.

recently purchased some burgers from there and it was awful disgusting The taste metallic and it was rotten lettuce. I was highly disappointed. And they are extremely dirty in the background I see the way they cook. Plz someone check the food standards

Worst experience at a stars I’ve ever had. If I could rate it lower, I would. The first time, they got my order wrong. After asking for them to remake the burgers, they had to come back outside to type my order in their phone to make sure they got it right. When they brought it back, they got it wrong again. Not only that, but there was an off taste to the burger meat and the bacon was undercooked. I seriously doubt I’ll ever come back to this stars any time soon.
