I actually give this place 3.5 stars. The food at this location isn’t bad. I had the mozzarella sticks, not bad, the farmhouse burger, which is a cheeseburger with bacon and a sunny side egg, that when you bite into the burger the yolk will run into the burger. The bun is nicely toasted so that was a good burger. Ice cream was a nice finish. Overall its always a good place for the family.

First time here! I got the buffalo chicken and waffles sandwich, I thought it was going to be real waffles but it was bread that was smashed to look like a waffle which was disappointing, I am traveling and like to try odd or unique things. They have your typical diner foods. The waitress was nice and kept our area clean and was not hard to find if we needed something like napkins or refills. We ordered shakes at the end because I never had an “Awful” shake. There wasn’t anything special about it, the hype for it was misleading. It was a good shake but nothing about it screams special about it. I got the strawberry flavor, so maybe the hype isn’t for a basic shake? I wouldn’t necessarily come back here out of my way but would come back here if I was passing by in my travels and no other restaurant around peaked my interest.

Been here a countless amount of times and never a bad experience. Of course, always good ice cream. Awful awfuls are a must! But the food here is really good as well. Never had breakfast here, however got to enjoy some today. The Bacon & Cheese Mega Melt was the reason i’m writing this review in the first place. I normally don’t love breakfast in general, however, this sandwich was the most delicious thing ever! No fatty bacon, nicely cooked egg, fresh tomato, american cheese, and texas toast! Very very good. You really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu.

The waitress took a long time between beverages, and letting us order, she was not attentive and quickly dismissive. The seat in the booth was so sticky I had to tear my pant leg off it, I thought I was stuck on a nail! It left a sticky residue down my whole pant leg. My dad ordered the skillet, it was loaded w/freezer potatoes & he didn’t like it. I told the waitress that after refusing a box, she ignored me. We didn’t get any discount then we had to pull in to cumbys before we left town because e both had to use the bathroom in an emergency kind of way! He left all this food and said it was tasteless- they charged him full price.

If you’re looking for a family atmosphere, or just something laid back with a nostalgic vibe this is a great place! I’d suggest going on an empty stomach if you want a meal and ice cream because the servings were plentiful. I did spend about $20 a person but keep in mind that we had a meal and dessert. If you have one or the other it would obviously cost less….and sometimes ice cream for dinner hits the spot, I’m just saying. I am on vacation and I can honestly say I have every intention of visiting again before I leave… which is a big deal for me because when I go on vacation I like to try as many different places as possible…. highly recommend!

It was a great quick birthday lunch stop. My now 9 year old loves to grab some mozzarella sticks and awful awfuls. Always a good spot are quick meal or a cold treat. It’s your typically outdated looking local go to. The staff is always sweet in the afternoons.

Came here last night to sit in for dinner and I had really pleasant experience.
I had the “Holy Cow” burger and the description said it was the best burger on the block so I had to try it. Came out hot, fresh, and the temperature came out perfect. 15 dollars and its the best bang for your buck in Coventry.
The service was okay, the waitress forgot about us at one point. The place was clean and the overall staff was polite. The ice cream there isn’t much to say that it’s great as well.

Great food, especially their breakfast. The Holy Cow Breakfast, which comes with pretty much everything offered, is my usual go to. For lunch or dinner I like to get the appetizer sampler, crunchy grilled cheese, or turkey club. They have really good milkshakes and ice cream too.

Friendly service, clean counters. Still the fluffiest whipped cream ever, with the under counter whipped cream dispenser. Thank you for keeping frozen pudding ice cream on the menu.
