This place does not disappoint and I must stress that the food is of the highest caliber! I live outside of NYC and rarely have I ever encountered a restaurant in my travels where the quality of fish, presentation and taste exceeded Nikki’s. This is a MUST VISIT for anyone thats in Wilmington. And tell Chris I said hello when you stop by!

We showed up, we were greeted both friendly staff, and we were seated super quick. Chris took our order, made recommendations based on our desires. Every single sushi roll we tried was DELICIOUS. Our experience was attentive, the fish was fresh, and if you want something unique and delicious, try the vanilla gorilla roll or the sashimi martini!!! Definitely will be back whenever we’re in town.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly. We got one of the lunch bento sashimi specials and the specialty eel rolls and both were tasted great. The prices were all fair too. This place claps.

We recently found this Gem of a place that has excellent variety of sushi. The sushi/sashimi is always so fresh, tasty and wonderfully presented. The Cheeseburger is at a whole new level of juicy deliciousness! Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly thanks to both Missy and Chris. Both were very kind, accommodating and made each visit so special. They are a big part of the experience. I highly recommend this place for sushi and many other options that they offer! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars!

“Everything was absolutely fantastic! Chris was an excellent server—knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere was casual and fun, making for a perfect dining experience. As an executive chef, I’ve had my fair share of burgers, but the one here was out of this world! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Nikki’s never disappoints. It was my birthday today yay! I ordered Angle hair and firecracker roll and my husband ordered beer French fries with Avocado salad. The food always taste very delicious. It’s one of the few places that sells great quality Sushi in town. Darin was our server and he was making sure that we all set. He was very friendly and welcoming. I am glad I chose them to celebrate my birthday. I will be back soon!

We were in for a short visit in Wilmington when we were walking through town and needed dinner. Our son was craving sushi and we decided to stop into Nikki’s Fresh Gourmet & Sushi! OMGEEE! The sushi was so fresh and delicious! Chris served us and was super pleasant and provided great recommendations to us when we requested! He steered us onto the right path and we had such a delightful experience dining here!
We ordered additional sushi rolls because we just wanted more and more as they were so fresh and tasty! My husband ordered the Sho Chiku Bai Nigori Unfiltered Sake upon recommendation and it was so goooooddd! I asked Chris which wine to have with my sushi, because we drove like seven hours and I didn’t want to make decisions! He chose a Sauvignon blanc that paired so well with the sushi I ordered.
We truly enjoyed our meal and our son who is 10 and has been eating sushi since he was 2 said it was the best sushi he had eaten! It was so fresh! He ordered a third sushi roll!
The food was delightful, the music was so awesome! My son said, “Mommy, they are playing all of your favorite songs!”. Chris was super pleasant and knowledgeable and friendly! He totally also helped make for a memorable dining experience in Wilmington!
We absolutely loved eating here and their staff were so awesome and the food was prepared quickly! It had such an awesome vibe with pleasant staff, delicious food and great music! We highly recommend Nikki’s Fresh Gourmet and Sushi! Thank Y’all so much!
