I had a really great experience here. The staff was super friendly and helpful — they asked about my preferences and recommended dishes that I truly enjoyed. The salad had a lot of meat and a very tasty dressing, everything was well-balanced. The portions were generous, and the dessert was amazing — ice cream inside with lots of chocolate on top!
I also really appreciate the manager who helped me when I said my English isn’t great. They were very kind and made me feel comfortable the whole time.
I’ll definitely come back to this place and recommend it to my friends. We loved everything, and my rating is a solid five stars!!!!

Coming inside rubbed me the wrong way. No smile or nothing. Just a “how can I help you.” I mentioned I had a reservation and I was escorted to my waiting table. Since I was early and happy hour was still going on at the bar and patio, I decided to go to the bar. After placing my order I was told by another employee, I assume the manager, if I wanted to sit at the bar or patio. I said I still wanted my table but I was going to do happy hour at the bar since I was early for my 6:30 reservation. I was told I could not do that. My table, who weren’t there yet had to fit at the bar or patio. I said “that doesn’t make any sense.” I can have happy hour before my reservation and still honor my reserved table. I’ve done this many times at other places. Make it make sense folks. My party arrived around 630 and we decided to sit outside. Overall the food is good. Standard Italian, nothing spectacular. Fresh pasta and sauces. Mussels with a tomato sauce good. Pizza was good. Calamari-good. Good happy hour prices. They have lots of room on the inside for groups. Service was adequate.

I visited DC from out of town and chose this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, our server charged us for items we never received. Specifically we got charged an extra calamari and pasta entree which totaled almost $50. Because it was very busy that evening, we didn’t notice the mistake until the next day.
I called the restaurant multiple times, but every call went straight to voicemail and their voicemail box is always full. I then emailed photos of the receipt but never received a response. A few weeks later, I finally reached someone named Maria, but she couldn’t understand what I was explaining and hung up. All subsequent calls again went to voicemail.
This has been an extremely unprofessional experience. I understand that mistakes happen, but the complete lack of follow-up and inability to resolve a simple billing issue highlights a serious gap in their customer service process.

Great dining experience for four of us. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They gave us space to have a conversation while still being attentive. The only con is a temporary issue with the A/C making it pretty warm even inside. The fan helped but they need to resolve this.

Recently hear about this place and decided to give it a shot. Great selection for happy hour and lots of great menu options. The service was alright. Our waiter was friendly but wouldn’t come by our table often for water refills. The starters was great but the chicken for my entree was bland and tough. Good place if you’re in the area.

The interior atmosphere seemed amazing. We sat outside because it was extremely hot inside, but walking inside is what ultimately made me want to eat here. For some reason, these were the best French fries I have had in a long time. No truffle oil or cheese needed. Our water was filled up consistently and I always appreciate this. The food presentation was pleasing as well.
Now for the cons..
The staff were a little rude and hard to understand but nothing too bad. The pizza and sandwich lacked all flavor and for this reason I will most likely never return. All the other reviewers seem to feel the same way so it seems like a pattern. The cloth napkins were all stained with blue ink making them feel dirty. Finally, parking was fairly difficult unless you want to pay a lot rate. This was not really a memorable experience.

In short: this place has gross food and even nastier customer service. When my friend booked this spot for brunch recently, I was weary because the service was so abysmal the last time I went with a couple friends for dinner. I decided to be open minded and give it another chance because I figured the bad experience was situational due to the fact that we were seated outside, and that the waitress was clearly working way too many tables. I regret not trusting my gut and going back, as I quickly learned the issue is clearly systemic. For brunch, my friends and I were seated inside and ignored for 20 minutes without so much as a greeting, then we waited another 20 minutes without anyone taking our order despite being in plain sight of the waitress and asking the hostess three times to be served. When she finally took our food order, she never came back to refill our waters or drinks (by the way, my glass had a disgusting lipstick stain — pay attention to detail when you’re setting the tables with glassware — that’s so nasty…) so I attempted just to cancel our orders after about 45 minutes of frustration and being treated like a burden by the staff. The waitress said she couldn’t cancel our food orders, and that there was allegedly no manager on the premises to speak to. So we paid for the food we didn’t even eat and left after about an hour sitting there drinking one glass of warm, sugar-filled “mimosa juice” and paying about $50 each for food we didn’t want that wasn’t served until we asked to cancel the order. I would sooner go to McDonald’s for brunch rather than ever step foot in this horrible establishment again. The food sucks too, but that could be made up for with good service. I have literally nothing positive to say about this place. Save your money and just don’t go.

When the food was finally dropped off by the food runner, our server popped up and asked how everything was. They literally just placed the food on the table one second ago and we hadn’t even picked up the silverware to begin eating. We never saw her again.
I had the steak, which was the most expensive thing on the menu, and it came out unseasoned and so tough that the entire table rocked from me trying to cut it. I tried to ask for a steak knife since they didn’t bring one but there were no servers to be found.
The bussers tried to take out plates before we clearly were even finished. Still no sign of any server.
We finally got up and looked around for the server so that we could pay and leave.
This place is trash. Try to avoid it
